The only negative I could say is that there was a very heavy mildew smell as soon as you walk into the property. There was a running dehumidifier and the longer you stayed inside the less noticeable the smell became, though upon every entry the smell was like a smack to the face.

Great spot. Tops floors of this home are amazing but the terrace level was just fine - just no comparison. Still everything was clean and functional. Kitchen was great. The bathtub seems to be painted yellow which at first made me think it was dirty, but it was fine. My only issue is that is not a queen bed - I measured it and compared with my queen bed at home. May want to fix that one the website.

beautiful location, spacious apartment, with a lovely walk out patio and garden.

Good location just a few blocks from everything. It met our needs as a family of 4. It is a basement unit and there were people above with small children so running and playing was heard. It was tolerable but we have kids. I was slightly disappointed in the outdoor area as it needed some TLC but it is early spring and there had been a lot of rain. We never had a problem finding street parking right in front of our unit. Many things were walkable. I highly suggest downloading the parking app it’s easier to keep payment up and is inexpensive. Overall all the accommodation we needed in a good location.

I had booked a different place on Jones St only to be notified several days in advance of my stay that there were issues with the furnace and I’d have to choose a different rental. The property management co offered 3 other locations and did a good job of communicating and placing me in the Cohen House place. The location was within walking distance of many historical attractions and jones st is lovely even more so with holiday decorations. Check in was easy and the unit was clean inside. The weather was exceptional while we were there and We were able to have morning coffee in the garden. We had no car so we utilized the trolley tours and Uber to get where we couldn’t walk. Highlights were tours of Bonaventure Cemetery and the Garden of Good and Evil house, meandering thru quite a few of the city squares and shopping. collins Quarter was a favorite restaurant along with SavAnnah Coffee and the BBQ restaurant in the river. We were disappointed with City Market - expected more artisan less touristy-and preferred neighborhoods such as the designer district with Asher & Rye.

Loved the area, the street we were on, the garden area behind. The sitting rooms were comfortable and kitchen was clean and provisioned.

I liked the house and the location. There were loose tiles in the bathroom that can be a hazard. Also bricks were uneven on back patio backyard, which can be dangerous.

The unit is a long walk to the riverfront if your not in shape. Quiet neighborhood felt safe walking at night. The unit was clean but lacked something’s like Kleenex. How much can a box of Kleenex costs? Also the smoke detector went off at 6 am cause the battery was low. Not happy about that. Maintenance should be replacing those ona scheduled basis. The only bedroom has a regular size bed i. It if your accustomed to sleeping in larger your out of luck so use the sleeper sofa

Cute, clean. Great location. Walkable neighborhood. Comfortable bed. Well-stocked kitchen. However, there is no heat vent in the bedroom or bathroom. You have to use space heaters. We were chilly and it was in the 60s outside. I wouldn't rent this in the middle of winter.

We enjoyed staying here, but there are some things that need to be addressed. Second towel rack in bathroom needs to return, as well as the bathroom tile needs to be thoroughly cleaned and repaired. Oven mitts and pot holders are needed. We are glad that the toaster is still there!(we requested it last time we stayed here). Shutter inside was damaged by someone previous to us. We love the location, the back patio(but no clean cushions to use on the chairs), plenty of clean linens and the roominess of this place.

I made my reservation through Lucky Savannah rentals. Their team was friendly and accommodating! The location was perfect! The cobblestone streets are quaint and lovely. The residential neighborhood is quiet and located in the middle of the historic district. The Cohen House Garden Apartment is spacious and quiet. There is plenty of room for people to lounge and I loved having a full kitchen. (One tip for the owner: please add a couple of oven mitts for removing hot things from the oven. A few more cooking utensils would also be welcomed.) The AC is a little tricky in the bedroom but with the ceiling fan, it stayed cool. The parking is street parking. You must pay to park between 8AM-5PM daily. My stay overall was good and I appreciated being able to walk everywhere.

The place was located in the historic district. It was close enough to everything but on a very quiet street. We loved how close it was to the crystal beer parlor around the corner. The place was as described, the only negative comment I would have is about the shower tub. The paint is peeling and the shower curtain is too long and potentially a trip/slip hazard. I would stay there again as it was minor.

My husband and I stayed at the Cohen House apartment for 4 nights and had a wonderful time! The apartment is in an excellent location on a nice quiet and absolutely beautiful street. Far enough away from the action but close enough to walk to almost everything. We were even able to enjoy a cocktail with the nice lady across the street who was more than happy to share her front porch with us.
The apartment itself was nice with a newly remodeled kitchen and plenty of space to spread out. It was not nearly as bright as it looked in the pictures but what can you expect from a ground level apartment? We had no internet problems as reported by some earlier reviewers. Just a few things could be improved if I were to rent this property again. First, the bathroom could use a little updating. The tub was peeling and the faucet didn't work that well and there were loose tiles on the floor. A larger mirror over the vanity would have been nice. The bedroom NEEDS NEW FURNITURE!! The bed seemed old and was very uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on the couch our last night there. And the dresser is just junk. We were fighting with drawers the entire time trying to get them to open or close. If you plan on cooking bring everything you need. They only had salt and pepper. And one last thing, more towels! We were only provided with 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and 2 wash cloths. We had to do a load of laundry half way through our 4 day trip.

The rental was clean with everything we needed except a toaster. Not a problem as we just used a skellet. Loved the location, could wald or take DOT everywhere we wanted to go. We had one problem and it was taken care of immediately. No head in apt when we arrived, 56 degrees inside, 60 outside. It took us 24 hrs to have sufficient warmth to be comfortable. Would use Lucky Savannah again.

The rental was in a convenient and beautiful location. Unfortunately, when we arrived a Production Company was filming on the block where we were staying, therefore we could not park anywhere near then rental. It was an inconvenience, and not something rental company could control, but it would have been nice to have a heads-up. The rental was clean, but there were no bath towels, one hand towel and no toiletries. A call to housekeeping resolved the issue, but because we had left the unit to explore the city we were told we had to return & put the key back in the lockbox for housekeeping to bring our supplies. Once we were able to get back to the unit, we decided it was too late to venture back out. Forty-five minutes went by and we made a second call to customer service for our linen request. Housekeeping arrived in approx. 15 min.
Other than the first evening issues, the stay was acceptable. The unit was pretty much as expected. The bed was comfortable & there was plenty of space. The tub/shower could use an upgrade.
We enjoyed the Crystal Beer Parlor just around the corner. It was also nice to have the convenience of the DOT bus stops for free transportation. Savannah's Squares are beautiful and full of history.
We enjoyed our stay.

Check in easy with lock box. House clean and in working order. Little necessities available throughout, even a hair dryer. Have 3 little ones who loved pull-out couch and used Pack n'play in separate rm for baby. Loved the location. Lots within walking distance. Lovely master. Bed a bit too soft. If it had not rained, we surely would use garden to eat lunch. Very peaceful.Loved the historic feel of whole place.

If you are like most people nowadays, you take a short vacation, but you still need to work while the family sleeps in. If this is you, DO NOT rent this apartment. The Internet connection is basically not there. My laptop would connect for a minute, then down for 10 minutes. In my case, that meant logging in each time to my remote computer – very frustrating.
The Wi-Fi router they use must be “ancient”, or perhaps the people upstairs were using all the bandwidth. It seems that both apartments share a router and Internet account. When I enquired about this problem to Lucky, they said the “wifi is very spotty in the historic district”. She obviously had no clue as to how wi-fi and the Internet works when it is brought into a house. The owners need to get a separate internet account with a capable wi-fi/modem for each apartment.
The location is great, on West Jones St. Jones is one of the nicest historic streets in Savannah. The apartment is mostly nice, although it does smell very musty, overlaid with a touch of a Febreze like product. There is lots of room in the apartment, so no complaints there.
My only other comment would advise the owners that their hand painted, peeling bathtub is gross, and they should either replace it or have it professionally refinished. Oh, and the description says they have a Keurig...they don’t. It is a regular coffeemaker.

Very disappointing. The place smelled like an old basement Moldy. The WII-Fi was ancient, could not get a good signal for the entire weekend. WE left (1) day early due to being unable to stay logged onto to Net to do work.

Loved this historic apartment. Aside from the fact that it was in a perfect location, it was roomy, clean and cute. In addition to the huge bedroom, we utilized the sleeper couch and it was comfortable. I’ve stayed in lots of vrbo’s and this was one of the best.

We wanted to stay in Savannah where I could cook Thanksgiving dinner for my family. The kitchen had a good work space and we had plenty of room to eat.

Loved the residence, very comfortable, but we used the kitchen ALOT and had only one dish towel, NO hot pads, we had to call for an iron and ironing board and ran out of paper towels, toilet paper and dishwasher tablets. If the stay is longer than 4 nights, I'd suggest you provide more of the above than what was left. Hot pads and more dish towels are a MUST and a cookie sheet would have been helpful. Also, just a suggestion..provide some aluminum foil and cling wrap for your "cooking" guests.

What a wonderful apartment! We used it for a Girls' Getaway to beautiful Savannah and enjoyed it so much. Very clean and attractively arranged. Great location for all the places we wanted to visit. One small complaint: the television never worked. We did discuss it with one of the management team and a young man came over to attempt to fix it but with no luck so it was never available to us. Fortunately we didn't miss it very much although it would have been nice to see the news in the morning. Nevertheless, there are bigger problems in the world and it certainly didn't ruin our trip.

Clean, convenient location. Only issue was the people that lived upstairs had a small child running around some nights. Parking is free after 5 pm on weekdays. Otherwise the house has an amazing set up and great kitchen.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the Cohen House Garden Apartment. The property was exactly as listed but one thing that I would have liked to know is that it is below the Cohen House, so you do get a basement feel. Although the unit is below the main house it would have been nice to have curtains on the windows...looking out at bare brick at night was kinda creepy. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay..we were in walking distance of everything and that was our desire. I would definitely rent from you all again!

We were in town for a week and found the location to be perfect for our needs! I needed to be close to several SCAD buildings for an educators forum, and my husband and toddler were very close to Forsyth park to play! The property is on adorable Jones Street which always felt safe and close to many cute shops and restaurants. We enjoyed eating at The Sentient Bean, Rancho Alegre, and The Sandfly just to name a few. While I found the property to be very nice in most aspects my only complaint was the lack of info on where we could find parking without meters (since there's no parking space). We were able to avoid getting a ticket, but it would have been nice to have a little insider scoop on where to park (we learned from a meter attendant that a couple blocks south there was unmetered parking). The property was overall clean, but the bathtub had obviously been painted because it was chipping pretty badly. However, these were very small inconveniences to deal with for a great property/location. We would have paid much more if we had stayed in a hotel, and would have had a lot less privacy & charm.

This was a really nice place to stay. The location was awesome and it was just what we needed.
We could have utilized the beautiful kitchen more - this would be a good place to stay for a family that wanted to cook. However, good to note that there are no grocery stores in the area.
Everything was pretty clean.
My only complaint (and this might be a huge complaint for some) was that the wifi didn't work. We called Lucky Savannah to complain about this and they told us they'd send someone, which they never did. If you need to work or need wifi - I'd recommend not staying here. I think the router was located in the main house above, so if I were the owner of this property I would install a router in the Garden Apartment as well. If I were looking to book and needed wifi - I wouldn't book unless this place had it's own router.
Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend (to someone that didn't rely on wifi).

The location was very nice and in a great neighborhood. The place was clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The manager responded quickly to our issues with internet. It would be nice to have a radio to be able to listen to some music and not just the TV. It was a little dark because many of the light bulbs were out so this needs to be addressed. I didn't want to bother management about this. It would be nice to have some maps and some local menus and something to help people find their way around. Maybe some stationary of some sort to be able to write on something to take notes when making reservations or planning your day etc..We did enjoy the Crystal Beer Parlor right around the corner for a local brew and some food. Great little neighborhood restaurant. Savannah Coffee Roasters is also a great place to go and it's just down the street on W. Liberty.
