Very good location and can walk to most places. Furniture very dated. A large chair in the living room , made of fabric , had some little pieces of material coming thru the fabric that literally would stick you in the back from being so worn.
Baseboards looks pretty beat up and could use a paint job.
Master bedroom door knob kept falling off.
I must say, though, the place was clean and immaculate , And is probably the most well equipped kitchen, we have ever been in.

This is a charming apartment is a perfect location. Slightly away from the most touristy streets but within walking distance. Several lovely clothing boutiques on the same street as the apartment. The apartment was very clean, beautiful large kitchen and very quiet.

It is very close to the historic district. Plenty of parking nearby (at least when we were there in mid February). A bit of a walk to the river - but close enough for most people.
The property is in very good condition. Everything works. Up-to-date appliances. Two couples fit here quite easily.
The property managers provide lots of useful information and are responsive to questions.
Great restaurant, Noble Fare nearby. Anita's Deli is also close by - order some sandwiches for your walk through the historic district.
You can't go wrong at The Eleanor.

This apartment was a great option for my friend and me as we spent a long weekend in Savannah. It was clean, comfortable, and it's perfectly located in the heart of the historic district. Most everything was in walkable distance....tours, River Street, the Visitor's Center, restaurants, parks, and so much shopping. We would stay here again, and we'd recommend it to our friends!

This place was very clean and we enjoyed our stay there. The only thing I could suggest to improve would be washcloths. There were only 2 for 4 people ��. Other than that it was perfect!

Good and annoying. Easy check-in/out. Apartment was fine. Bed was comfortable. Annoying because the guest staying above our apartment had a dog and we could hear its nails as it walked on the wooden floor. Annoying because we could hear the person/people above us speaking and dropping what sounded like heavy items on the floor later in the evening. And, annoying because there weren't any hand towels in the bathrooms so we had to find a store to buy several. Nothing earth-shattering but will not be staying at the Eleanor again.

The appartament was perfect for my family (family of three with a 4 year old). It was as described, very clean. The location couldn't be better.
You will have to park on the street though.
The kitchen is very well equipped. The fridge has a water dispenser.
Beds are super comfy. We will definitely come back!

There were 4 of us, two couples and we spent 3 nights. It was just as described. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the living area was quaint, and the location was great. Every room was very clean and check in & out was easy. As others said in their reviews, the living area is a little loud during high traffic time but the bedrooms were quiet. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again!

We have stayed at this unit a couple of times and love the location. It is in short walking distance to many restaurants and Forsyth Park. It is always very clean, and we enjoy the hassle free check in.

Great location! Living space faces the road and can be rather loud. Bedrooms are located in the back of the apartment and very comfortable, quiet. Staircase in front of the building could use better lighting, very dark at night.

The outside front picture is misleading. Front is kind of run-down. Noticed roaches inside and outside, dead and alive. A big turnoff.

We really enjoyed staying at the Eleanor. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. We were close to everything, and learned that Whitaker St. was a great place to stay. Parking was around the corner and there were no issues there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The apartment on Whitaker was great. Right in the center and easy walking distance to everything. Hardwood floors, high ceiling and nice beds. Everything worked well.

The apartment was very nicely furnished with a homey feel. We would have liked to be able to stay a few more days.
We would like to suggest that it would be nice for some places to hang towels in the hallway bathroom. We would also like to suggest that guests be provided with at least 2 towels each. Women need an extra one for their hair. The only thing that detracted from the stay was the noise from the iron gate shutting and the upstairs neighbors partying to the wee hours.

Beautifully appointed restored historic home in a wonderful area. Right around the corner is Jones Street, where we parked, and is the most photographed street in Savannah. We loved being within walking distance of everything. The mattress was incredible (always important to me). The owners provided very generous starter items (soap, shampoo, dish soap, coffee filters) We will definitely stay again.

The Eleanor was absolutely incredible! We stayed for the week of Thanksgiving & it was so special. The kitchen is spectacular & the extra space in the closet/pantry was perfect for all the groceries we got. I ordered Walmart Grocery pickup & stocked the cabinets with all kinds of goodies to save a little money while we were there. The location was a perfect walk to Forsyth Park where we played frisbee and walked around the gorgeous fountain. The leather chairs in the living room were a dream to sit in. The beds were comfy, the showers were spotless and the water was amazingly hot. The view of the cars passing by was super cool for our truck loving 4 year old & the occasional fire truck passing by made his day. The Eleanor has historic touches with plenty of modern upgrades. Can’t wait to come back again very soon!!

From online, this property looked awesome to me. Got there & had no wi-fi first night, BR tv worked only when tech there for entire trip, toilet had 4 separate leaks that were repaired while there thanks to management repair guy who was very nice as were the management people on the phone, Husband didn’t like the parking options, Noisy. Cold & could not get warm. Window treatments in BR let light in causing sleeping issues. Would not elect to stay there again.

We loved out stay here. The apartment was extremely cozy and a wonderful location. However for only two days the cleaning fee was INSANE! Our trip was a little last-minute, so the pickings were slim. Next time I will look for other alternatives that have less expensive cleaning fees. It honestly is so expensive I will consider other options first on our next trip to Savannah. Still overall very happy with the place, though I am sure there are other options with far less expensive cleaning fees.

We recently stayed in Savannah. The Eleanor, located at 339 Whitaker, was in a perfect location within the historic district. We were able to walk to anywhere we wanted to within the historic district from this location! The condo was clean on arrival and exceeded our expectations! Great trip and a great place to stay!

Property was great! Clean, comfortable, well stocked,great location midway in historic district, very walkable. Coffee maker could use a cleaning, flushing.
Initially couldn’t access apt door. My instructions did not include * after code but office got it corrected quickly. The only annoyance was everyone slamming the gate, very noisy esp late at night. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Nice place for the price. I thought the beds were very good and same for the shower and bathroom. Kitchen very nice also and overall I thought the place was good. I would give this an 8 out of 10 rating. I can't give this a 10 because of the following:
1. Very busy street - the traffic moves very fast just outside the front door.
2. broken door handle in the hall bathroom
3. The couch has broken support that makes it somewhat unusable.
4. single-ply toilet paper - come on, what are your really saving here, a few bucks per 10 rolls?

The place was perfect for the three of us. There was no need for a car, we walked everywhere and enjoyed seeing the city. The property was just as described and we enjoyed relaxing in the morning before starting our day in the living room. I do agree the street is a little loud, but it did not bother us; afterall we were staying on a city street. I would recommend this place and would stay there again. We did have trouble getting in, however, the property manager was prompt to respond and get us in. Thanks for a great get-a-way.

Had a great stay at The Eleanor! Loved waking up to the music of the church bells every morning. Great location once we figured out the layout of the city. There is a free bus that stops steps from the the front door and wish we would have used that more instead of paying for the trolley for 2 days.

Our place was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations. The road out I front is quite busy and may concern some, but it was manageable. Very central location and was walking distance to many great spots! The only thing I can say is that we could not get the fan in the living room to work and could not get a response from management.

First-I have to say the photo they have listed for the Eleanor is very deceiving. It’s been photoshopped. The front of the building is actually very old and not very well kept up. However-we were surprised by the inside of the condo. It was very clean. Very comfortable. Nicely remodeled. You can walk to coffee shops, bus lines etc. I was disappointed by downtown Savannah but the restaurants, mansions to tour, etc were awesome. Fun time there.

This apartment is in a great location. We walked everywhere in the historic district. The parking could be a problem; however, we managed to always find a space very close by. We stopped at the Visitor Center on our way in and bought a parking pass. You can use this on any of the meters around the apartment. The apartment is nicely updated and beautifully decorated. One bedroom has an ensuite bath; the other bedroom needs to use the bathroom in the hallway, but that was no problem for us. We did have a little problem understanding the directions on how to enter the apartment. There is one code for the lockbox, and a different code for the door. However, the two codes are located in completely different sections of the instructions, so we misunderstood. The rental company was completely supportive with all of our questions. Hearing the bells from the church around the corner was a wonderful way to start our mornings. We cannot wait to stay here again.

We loved our stay at The Eleanor! We were in Savannah for a wedding and it was perfectly located to the venue and all of the main shops and restaurants, and to famous sites around the city. The apartment was meticulously clean (and I mean, I checked the windowsills and baseboards and it was immaculate) and very comfortable. We were so happy we stayed here over a hotel because we had so much space! Check-in was easy and when we had a question about arrival times the property management was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place! It was an updated old apartment that had a lot of charm. It was very clean and the rooms and bathrooms very comfortable. It was in a good location a little off the busiest areas. Other than some FAST bus traffic, it was safe and quiet. It is located next to Jones St which is lovely.The only downsides was a bit of a cat odor when walking in, the dishwasher was not working and the dryer did not heat up. The last two were reported and I'm sure will be fixed soon.

It was wonderful! House is beautiful! Location is nice Whitaker is a very busy street so keep that in mind if you have small children. The dishwasher did not work and the property management sent someone out but it still did not work before we left. I would make one suggestion that they put better dish liquid in the kitchen because we had to wash dishes and the product that was there was very weak. Loved the open space in the kitchen and dining area. Perfect for the four of us.

We had a great stay at the Eleanor. The location for our needs was perfect and the apt was very clean and comfortable. We were not there much but the kitchen appeared well stocked. The dishwasher did not work though. Lots of traffic noise but that is common downtown and didn't bother us at all, esp. since it was St. Patrick's Day weekend and expected. We loved the charm of the unit and would definitely stay here again.

The Eleanor is a conveniently located, well appointed apartment. The living room looks out to the street, and is decorated in southern comfort. The kitchen is newly updated and delightful. The location is an easy walk to everything! Parking on the street is convenient and cheap, with the purchase of a parking pass at the Visitor Center. Street parking is free on weekends.

The only small glitch was getting the key out of the lockbox in the dark...there were three lockboxes to choose from, and the instructions were unclear...I called and got a clue from the owner and we did get in. Other than that little thing, it was great!

The Eleanor is a lovely property and quite comfortable and well appointed. It is just as beautiful in person as the pictures appear. The location could not be better as it is just a couple blocs from Forsythe Park and it is just a block or so away from a Trolley Tour pick up site. Just buy your tickets online and proceed to pick up site #3 on the map. There is no parking provided, you must park on the street, but the good news is that parking is free from 5pm on Fridays until 8am on Mondays. The only down side whatsoever is that we called for help to get in on our arrival and no one ever returned our call to see that we did get inside. Other than that and having to hand wash dishes (the dishwasher would not turn on) it was perfect and we would happily stay here again. We hardly ever had to use our car because the location is so central to everything!

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Eleanor. The property was as described, and we enjoyed the many wonderful touches which make this charming historic building very modern and comfortable. After the heat and humidity of Savannah in June, the apartment was a great spot to cool off and relax. We were in town for a wedding and found the location to be great! We did have a car and had no trouble finding parking on the adjacent streets. The living room does face a busy street, but the traffic noise was not bad, and the bedrooms are in the back of the unit so you don't hear any street noise there. We would definitely stay here again if our travels take us to Savannah.

Everything was great for our stay. Love the kitchen! Lots of room in the living room. Washer/dryer made it possible to pack light. If there was one negative to the location it was Whitaker tends to have quite a bit of traffic on it but otherwise everything was perfect! Lucky Savannah was great. Oh, the GPS for the property location on the link was not correct.

We loved the spaciousness and ambiance of The Eleanor. It is a convenient, walk able distance from many of the scenic areas of town. The local grocery store is very close, and one of the lovely town squares is a block away. Everything we needed was supplied,
including a trunk-full of games! The kitchen is complete with a chef-style vented gas stove and large refrigerator/freezer.

The Eleanor was just what we were looking for to be with old friends and reconnect. The location was excellent. We were within walking distance of good restaurants and attractions. A bit of caution however. The rental staff recommended parking on Jones Street which we did with no problem, however they did not mention the street cleaners that came through on Saturday morning and presented us with a $25.00 ticket for not having moved our car. I did learn through this experience that street cleaners clean some street every night and you must be aware of which they are cleaning that next morning. Please let your guests know this.

We visit Savannah at least once a year. Could not ask for a better location. Within walking distance of everything. The unit was clean, comfortable and updated. The only thing I would say is it is located on a rather busy street and there is traffic noise in the front of the unit. We had a great time. Love this city. We truly enjoyed our stay at The Eleanor. The home was even more adorable in real life than in the pictures. Perfectly furnished and appointed, we loved every moment in it. There were a couple minor issues that were quickly resolved when I texted the office.
The location was perfect, just a few blocks from Forsythe Park, and less than 10 minute walk to the busyness of Congress, Broughton, or the River Front.
I have already recommended this place to friends and family, and would recommend it to you as well.
We stayed here for the Savannah Rock N Roll 1/2 Marathon...and it could not have been a better location. Right in between the start and finish line.

We rented this lovely apartment while we were moving my daughter into SCAD and were very satisfied with our choice. This property is newly renovated, spacious, nicely decorated and in a great location. The only small challenge was parking. If you can, go to the Visitors Center before checking in and get a parking permit. Otherwise you have to feed the meters during the day. Finding parking was not a problem though.
I really appreciated the Lucky Savannah app for this property. It made communicating with the agent so easy and it has a lot of very useful information. I've rented many vacation homes before and have never seen this before. It's a great idea!

We loved this property. It was a terrific location to sightsee from, close to the places we wanted to visit and to public transportation. The home was exactly as advertised, clean and well furnished and provisioned. For two couples sharing, it was perfect. We appreciated the laundry facilities and dishwasher. We liked the modern decor, but the floors and high ceilings of the historic building. We also likes the quirky shops nearby! Savannah was a great city to visit!
