4th time staying at this location and it’s always wonderful. Great location, always very clean when we arrive and reasonably priced. The locals are friendly and there’s always something to do. Plenty of places to choose to eat from or all varieties. Highly recommend if you’re into history (lots of tours) or just want a quiet place to stay with a lot of options for activities.

Great kitchen gear, comfy bed, washer/dryer is clutch, and really pleasing details all over the house. Zero complaints. Well worth the price.

We arrived and checked in to our original Airbnb, booked through an independent owner. Upon arriving, we were very disappointed and felt unsafe for the area we were in. I contacted Lucky Savannah, and they found us a rental closer to the historic district. They made several calls and stayed with us until we could check in and get settled. We were quite upset as we have no place to go and being in a strange town. Our new place was amazing and very cozy. Thank you so much for going the extra mile at the last minute. We would not hesitate to contact this company again God bless you.

Getting in was super easy bc of lock, no keys. It is in a great location with lots to do around. Courtyard was phenomenal! Very clean and up to date. Also very comfortable. Check in and out both super easy, thanks! Safe, quieter area in HD. I would recommend to others and I would stay here again. I would only suggest a few extra blankets? A few throw blankets or bed blankets would have been nice. Perfect place!

This was an ideal rental for my wife and me. The private courtyard with balcony off the bedroom was fantastic for us to get away for the weekend. The kitchen was well maintained and had all the tools needed to cook. The parking situation was great and I never had to worry about parking. The rental was clean. The great restaurants were less than a mile away and we were really close to everything. Highly recommend for couples that want to check out of the hustle and bustle.

We stayed for 5 nights and had an amazing time! The house was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. Very well appointed. It's one of those VRBO's that feels like a friend lent you their home to stay in. Those are my favorite kind. There is art on the walls, books on the bookshelf, pillows on the couch. It feels like a home, not an empty shell. We cooked breakfast and one dinner here and had everything we needed. The location cannot be beat. We parked the car outside the house and walked everywhere we went. This street is one of only a couple in the historic district that doesn't have metered parking. The outdoor courtyard was lovely and great for our dogs. I highly recommend this lovely little carriage house for a stay in Savannah.

This unit is in a great location for walking to everything in downtown Savannah. The street is very quiet and provided a wonderful experience. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The home is a bit darker than it shows in the photos and could use a few more lights - or maybe some overhead lighting. The kitchen appliances (stove and dishwasher) are small, but were fine to meet our needs. We did have trouble getting two of the burners on the stovetop to work.
We would definitely recommend this home to others and will likely come back in the future because of its ideal location and cleanliness.

NOT FOR PUBLICATION:
The windows and doors lights were quite dirty; in fact, from the living room, they blurred the view of the garden--contrary to the property's namesake.
We really liked this unit and would readily return to it.

Can't say enough about this rental. We prefer a quieter experience when traveling but still like to be in close access to everything. This was it. In a lovely residential neighborhood, it's still easy access to all the places you want to go. The house itself was beautiful and well well appointed - particualarly the kitchen. And the courtyard....what a great place to spend time relaxing from the day, or planning the adventures of the day over coffee. Great rental. We will be back.

Cute residence, with modern kitchen and spacious private outdoor garden. Very confortable and quiet and located just off Calhoun Square, easy walking distance to everything in the historic district. Only suggestion is some of the Louvered blinds are missing slats, and bathroom needs freshening up as mildewvon wall above shower and some paint peeling. Don’t let this turn you off though as it is a seeet little place to stay while visiting Savannah.

Stayed here with my fiancée and two Yorkies for a four night vacation in Savannah. The place was clean and cozy, had a great location and its own private courtyard. You are a minute or so walk away from Forsythe Park and a 15-20 minute walk from River Street. The immediate neighborhood is quintessential Savannah and absolutely charming—picture towering oak trees draped in Spanish moss and brick paved squares/parks every few blocks. If you stay here, visit Mrs. Wilkes for the best southern food anywhere. It is a five minute walk away, but leave early as there will be a line. Totally worth the wait! Visit the nearby Massey Museum if you want to learn about the history and architecture of Savannah. It is right across the street.
Loved the place and would happily stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Gardenview on Calhoun. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. Nice touch! It is a charming old home with a lot of character. There is sone wear and tear, but nothing that really detracted from our stay. The location is great, on a lovely street and just steps away from Calhoun Square. You can easily walk anywhere in the historic district from here. The best part of this house is the huge private courtyard. It's so nice to have outdoor space while staying in Savannah and the garden is lovely. I'd definitely stay here again. One note, more drawers for clothing storage in the bedrooms and more places to hang towels would be a very helpful addition.

We loved our 10 day stay with the patio out back. It was clean, well outfitted and perfectly located for us with our big old dog. Walking to Calhoun Square was ideal. Our only personal problem was the furniture, which while clean and attractive, was very uncomfortable for sitting and especially for my back. We brought an LED lamp with us which came in handy while working over by the back windows. Lucky Savannah was immediately responsive, even after hours. Loved the view of the garden and could have stayed for much longer if we didn't have to move on...

We loved staying in this cute home right in the heart of Savannah. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable ever! My only worry is the bathroom has poor ventilation and there are spots of mold growing on the ceiling.

We rented the Gardenview at Calhoun for a family vacation with our two teenagers and our dog.
Fantastically located, it's just a short, five minute walk to Forsyth Park and Mother Matilda Park dog park and literally around the corner from famous Clary's Cafe. In less than 10 minutes, you can grab some provisions from Kroger. Our kids had scheduled a tour of SCAD, which departed from Ruskin Hall, less than five minutes away.
The neighborhood is quiet, far enough from the Bay & River Streets but a pleasant 20-minute walk to them. On-street parking was abundant. Just be sure to note the street-sweeping schedule.
The property itself was cozy: two stories with a living/dining room combo and kitchen on the main floor & two bedrooms and the bath on the 2nd floor. It's probably better suited to a family with smaller children than adult-sized teens, but it worked. Master bedroom had a king. My main complaint is that the street lights lit the master up like Times Square. Some room darkening curtains would help immensely.
We had a problem with the WiFi (Xfinity's fault) and Lucky Savannah was extremely helpful, even dispatching a rep to the property to see if had been restored.
Just a word of advice: If you plan on visiting Savannah over a major holiday (we were here on Thanskgiving), check which restaurants are open. Fortunately we had made Thanksgiving-day reservations, but we encountered many people who had not. Only a handful of restaurants were open that day.

We stayed with another couple and our two labs. The house had everything we needed and was clean. We enjoyed the courtyard and loved how close the house was to so many venues we love. We were between some great restaurants and shops on Bull, Forsyth Park and the church. Free parking on Taylor was a plus. The only thing I would love to see is a fire pit in the courtyard, a couple screens so that we can open a window and a newer mattress. I would stay here again.

It’s a very cute house with amazing courtyard. The downstairs smells a bit damp bc it is “garden level.” In the summer the upstairs bedrooms would probably be pretty hot since the AC really only cooled the downstairs. They did have fans in both bedrooms. It was decorated well & the kitchen was well stocked. The neighborhood was nice and street parking was easy & plentiful. I only would have appreciated a dead bolt on front door when inside. It’s just a coded lock and other people obviously have the code. I would have just felt safer while sleeping if I could have dead bolted door from the inside (simple as a hotel room lock). Otherwise it was a nice stay.

We love the little carriage house. The location is amazing, the garden is adorable and the house has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The ONLY issue we have is that it is warm upstairs even if the air conditioner is at full blast. They do provide fans so that helps, but a separate unit would be helpful. Other than that, we LOVED it!!

I enjoyed the unit, loved the location but was irritated when the agency did hop over right away to take away a dead squirrel from the patio. The first person I spoke with seemed uncertain if there would be anyone who could remove the dead rodent. Several hours after my initial call, someone called back about whether or not I really wanted the dead squirrel gone.

My husband and I have been to Savannah several times, and this was our favorite rental by far. It was in the perfect location. We never even moved the car. The house had everything we needed. But the courtyard was the best! We were just as happy sipping cocktails in the courtyard as we were walking around the lovely squares. We were there in April when the jasmine on the wall was blooming, and it smelled divine out there!

We've stayed here before and love the apartment and location. It was nice to have good weather so we could enjoy the garden. Be advised that the only bathroom is upstairs. Also- be sure to move your car on the street for the early morning streets sweepers (info posted on street signs) or you'll get a ticket. The place has everything you'd need and Kroger is within walking distance. There's so much to do in Savannah we also recommend bringing your bikes.

This little house could not be more charming and comfortable. As much as we love walking around Savannah, we were just as happy being in the house and enjoying the courtyard.. It was spotless, the kitchen is new and very well equipped, the location perfect (the Sentient Bean coffee shop in one direction and Mirabelle’s in the other). Another plus - parking is free on E Taylor street! Lucky Savannah and the Hospitality app make the booking and communication side of a rental very easy.

Our family of 4 and two dogs had a great 5 night stay in this townhouse. We all really enjoyed the outdoor space, the living area, including bedding, and the very nice location of the property. We would not hesitate to rent again or recommend to our friends. Only improvement suggestion would be increasing air-conditioning to upper floor but was not much of an issue in October. ALso had great experience working with Lucky Savannah.

The location of this home is amazing. If you enjoy walking, it is a comfortable 15 minutes or less to most of the tourist areas in Savannah. Parking was easy and free, just keep in mind the street sweeping schedules posted. The "most haunted" house in Savannah is directly behind this unit, though I read the story and it seems most of the lore is untrue. This particular house is also currently under renovation, so there is construction noise during the day. It did not bother me and they were considerate about it not going too early or late.
The garden is spectacular and one of the main reasons I chose this home. It lives up to the photos and was very private.
The interior of the home is spacious enough for 1-4 guests. The living area downstairs is very spacious, though I was unhappy with how unkempt everything was. The kitchen was especially dirty. Dried bits of food on all of the pots, pans, glasses and dishes. Bits of food debris in the cabinets and shelves. The grill outside would have needed a heavy degreaser to use. The couch is ripped and I had to place the cushion off to the side while there to ensure we didn't make the rip any worse. The nightstands in the main bedroom were also full of crumbs along the top seams.
My main concern was that an employee of the owner entered into the garden while I was in the property without knocking or announcing herself. I was very uncomfortable with this, she had no identification and was visibly upset with me for asking who she was. She entered the locked door with a key. I later informed Lucky Savannah because of another small incident, and to their credit they also were unaware that an employee of the owner was accessing the property. Lucky Savannah ensured the employee did not access again for the rest of my stay.
Overall, I would stay here again. I hope they have worked out the issues with the employee entering and hopefully next time it would be cleaned more thoroughly.

This is my third stay at the gardenview on Calhoun. We always come back because we love the house and the location. However, this time around I found the house to be a bit rundown. I felt that it wasn’t as clean as it has been in the past. I found hair balls in the closet and in the living room area and also the couch’s hems coming apart. I also felt that we were not well stocked for the essentials that we would normally find at the house. We ran out of toilet and paper towels and had to run out and buy. It is also time for the bathroom to get a overhaul, it just not functional anyway more not even for a family of three. And lastly, the outdoor grills were not properly cleaned to be used, when in the past they have been always clean. We had to clean it ourselves in order to use them. I’ve got to say that I was disappointed this time around. I would normally recommend the Gardenview on Calhoun, but not anymore in this last condition we found it in.

Clarys is around the corner (breakfast spot) and just a short 15-minute walk to downtown! We walked to/from River street during the day, and it wasn't that far. The beds were comfortable, and the private courtyard is the cherry on top!
I recommend this unit and will be returning! :)

We loved staying in this sweet townhouse, the kitchen is wonderful and workable, the courtyard is so peaceful but you also know that your in the city. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable and you have a balcony attached to both rooms. The smaller bedroom twin beds were very uncomfortable and I hope they can improve those before our next stay here. The whole house is very cozy and is located in the landmark historic district, your close to Forsythe Park and it is quiet at night. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful house on a peaceful fairy tale street. The house was clean and had everything we could possibly need. Enjoyed the private courtyard. Loved being on a historic street with no one above or below us. If you have a problem with stairs, the only bathroom is on the second floor. We could easily walk everywhere and there is a DOT shuttle stop very close also. The Lucky Savannah customer service was amazing!! Highly recommend!

My friend had previously rented the Gardenview on Calhoun on a previous and I fell in love with right then and there. So I knew this is where I wanted to stay on our annual trip back. We bring our tandem bike and ride around town, so this place was perfect because it has a great courtyard and it’s perfect to stow the bike off the street. There are many historic books about Savannah at the house, a real bonus. And last but not least, they permit you to bring your dog to this rental. This is really special because I was able to take so many photos with my pup in Forsyth Park and other places. We are looking forward to our next stay here.

The house was very nice and located in a very quiet part of town, but still close enough to walk to historic sites and restaurants. I enjoyed being able to walk to the square in the evening and enjoy the sunset or sit in the courtyard and relax after a day of touring the city. The courtyard stays shady throughout the day, which is nice but also could've used a pressure wash. Only other drawback was the A/C, which did not have enough strength to cool the upstairs bedrooms, but even that was easily solved. We just closed all the vents downstairs and lowered the thermostat and that made all the rooms in the house equally cool and comfortable.

The apartment was perfect for our trip, mixing history with convenience. While small, the incredible courtyard space makes it feel very spacious. We started and ended each of our days enjoying the courtyard. The kitchen and the bedrooms are lovely. It’s amazingly clean as well. While the AC had a difficult time cooling the main bedroom during a brief heat wave, the fans in the house helped a great deal. The apartment was just darling and we’d come back in a skinny minute.

This is a lovely historical Savannah home. Gardenview on Calhoun has everything you'll need for a relaxing vacation. The courtyard is a gem, nicely landscaped and private, comfortable chairs for relaxing, table and chairs for outdoor dining along with both a gas and charcoal BBQ. We rented bikes during our stay and locked them in the courtyard each evening just as a precaution, although appears to be a safe neighbourhood. The kitchen is very well equipped, including coffee grinder and French press! The house is not large but very quaint, comfortable and clean. Only one full bathroom, our family of four made do. Lovely French doors off each bedroom opens onto a balcony running the width of the house. Located right beside Calhoun Square, famous Clary's Restaurant in business since 1903 is right around the corner, a short walk to Forsyth Park in one direction and the shopping area on Broughton Street in the opposite direction. On street parking was never a problem and we were able to park right outside the door daily. Our flight arrived early and Lucky Savannah was able to provide an early check in, we really appreciated that. Overall, I would highly recommend Gardenview on Calhoun and Lucky Savannah.

My wife and I had spent a day touring Savannah a few years ago and decided then that we needed to spend more time in the city to truly appreciate all it had to offer. We rented The Garden View on Calhoun for two weeks in January. It was the perfect place for us. The apartment had everything you'd ever need including a full-sized washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable and there was ample closet space. Be aware that the only bathroom is upstairs. The courtyard was very special and on our warmer days we would have lunch or coffee outside. What made this place even better was the location. We were towards the south end of the historic district and were positioned so we never had to pay for parking. You could park in front of the unit or in back behind the courtyard. (NOTICE- keep track of the days you need to move your car for street sweeping! It's posted on signs along the street.) Everything was in walking distance, but we brought our bikes and locked them in the courtyard at night. We went everywhere on our bikes- River Street, Kroger, Back in the Day Bakery, Telfair Museum, and all the historic houses. We even rode our bikes to a symphony concert! It made a HUGE difference for us and I would strongly recommend it. The staff at Lucky Savannah were great to work with and they made check-in and check-out a breeze. If we were ever to go back to Savannah we would seek to rent the Garden View without hesitation.

This beautiful carriage house is exactly what you want staying in Savannah. It is close to everything, and very quiet. The garden is beautiful and the best place to have coffee in the morning. The kitchen is remodeled and is perfect for making breakfast and having drinks. The bathroom is upstairs, nothing fancy, but does the trick. The only complaint I would have is that the air conditioning does not cool the upstairs very well. We couldn't find the fan in the room with the twins, until we left. We could have used it. Also the twin bed not in the frame could use a better frame. It's not terribly uncomfortable, but sags a bit and squeaks every time you turn. Would recommend a better bed frame. Still a beautiful place and would definitely return.

Positives: Great courtyard, great neighborhood, great location, nice kitchen, quiet, and easy parking,
Negatives: musty smell and air-conditioning did not keep up, and needed filter changes.

Super cute place with an absolutely gorgeous outdoor courtyard! We sat out there every morning and evening and it was beautiful and peaceful. The house was adorable, too. Some of the light switches didn’t work, but everything else was fine. We had an issue with our door code and they sent someone right away to fix it, which was nice. The location was good because you could basically walk everywhere we wanted in the historic district. And it was right on the border of the city where parking was free so we found a spot right out the back patio doorway so unloading the car was a breeze.

The condo is beautiful. It looks like it had been fairly recently renovated. The furniture was all comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We didn't cook, but we easily could have. The courtyard was beautiful. We had issues the wifi and they were extremely friendly and helpful in getting it resolved. The location was fantastic.
We were in easy walking distance to a huge portion of the sites we wanted to see (as in, a lot of the trolly tours drive you within a block of this condo). The neighborhood was quiet and was beautiful.
The only slight quirk is that you have to park on the street, but the parking was free and it would be that way anywhere in the historic areas.
It was actually more than I had hoped for.

We had a wonderful trip. The house was exactly what was depicted on the Lucky Savannah website. The property was very clean and well maintained and we really liked the location. Parking although not on the property was very easy to find on the street in the front and the back. The courtyard was a great spot to just relax and catch some rest and sun. The only negative thing I have to say is that the internet was very spotty and weak. The only time I could get on line is if I was standing right at the router. However overall great stay lovely house.

The house was perfect for our stay in Savannah. We spent much of our time in the courtyard which was so private and relaxing. Didn't drive anywhere as you walk out the door and you're in the middle of it all. Clean, convenient, cozy.

Short week stay but filled due to awesome location. Everything within walking distance, lovely home, walled courtyard perfect for our little pup. Could not have been better.

This was my first trip to Savannah and I had an image in my mind of what I'd hoped it would look like. The street that this rental is on was just perfect; beautiful live oaks with spanish moss lined street, gorgeous brownstones and a historical square just yards from the front door. Great neighborhood that is walking distance to most everything we wanted. The house was comfortable yet modern, cozy yet spacious. The enclosed courtyard was perfect for our two cocker spaniel - JUST PERFECT. We will be back. One small problem - while the wood floors are gorgeous, they are slick and we slipped a couple of times.

The Calhoun carriage house was a wonderful place to stay for our Halloween visit to Savannah. It was the perfect size for 4 people. Very clean and had everything we needed to prepare a nice meal and then eat it outside in the beautiful courtyard. This was our 4th rental in Savannah and this was by far our favorite.

We brought our luggage in from the back, the courtyard was a lovely gem of historical Savannah. I could not get enough of it. We were immersed in history from the moment we arrived.

Had nice experience. First time using home away for lodging. Adorable 2 bedroom place. Upstairs was little stuffy unless running fans, but it was a very warm week. Prepare guests about the very slippery moss on bricks outside door, myself and friend slipped first morning we left for a walk. Unit was very clean! Had anything we needed.

We visit Savannah every year and this was our first time trying a home rental. This place was cute and charming; the perfect size for a couple. The best part was the private courtyard. We brought our little shih tzu along and she absolutely loved the outdoor space. The only challenge we had were the stairs, as they were slick for the dog and hard for her to manage - a runner along the steps would be a nice addition. The location is convenient to many of the popular spots and Clary's Cafe (which is fabulous) is just around the corner.

Beautiful home! Perfect location, away from the busy streets, but only by a couple short blocks. Can walk all the way from the river to the house in 15ish minutes! Parking was readily available, right in front of the door- and no meters on the front street or back street of the home! Plenty of quiet parking. My family felt safe throughout our stay, enjoyed the trolley tours through town (there is a stop right around the corner from the house!) and thoroughly enjoyed grilling in the courtyard and cooking meals in the kitchen. Everything was well stocked. Our kids had a great time playing scrabble and jenga- thanks for having those!
If I could make any recommendations, it would be to give the bathroom shower a good scrubdown (some yuck in the grout lines of the tiles), put a small chest dresser in the king size bedroom, maybe a tv in each of the bedrooms upstairs (the kids would have enjoyed one for sure!) and find a way to get more AC upstairs. It was quite hot up there, not to the point we couldn't sleep, but only because we had 2 fans on high blowing on us.
Overall, wonderful vacation home, and we will definitely want to stay here again! Thank you!

We found this little cottage delightful and well equipped, with great location for walking Savannah. Would definitely stay again.

This place provided us the space and comfort to function as a family. The streets can be a bit loud at night and the electric cooktop is annoying, but everything is well maintained with a unique blend of decor, nice linens, healthier choice of bath soaps and the master bed was very comfortable. Window treatments would be nice for the bay window.

Loved this cottage and the beautiful courtyard. Walking disrance to everything..(river walk was about 15 min but a really nice walk).
Only suggestion is that they add a dresser with drawers...otherwise it is the perfect place to stay in Savannah. Especially if you are bringing your dog!

We loved this apartment. It was in a great location. Quiet and so close to Calhoun Square. We brought our little dachshund with us and the back courtyard was perfect for her to explore. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful place. I would definitely stay here again!

We adored our month in Savannah!! Gardenview on Calhoun is exactly that. The private courtyard was landscaped beautifully and it is a perfect spot for outdoor dining and relaxing. Steps from Calhoun Square, couple of blocks from Forsythe Park and walking distance to grocery, liquor store, and everything else. Especially our favorite spot - Smith Bros's Butcher Shop, Wine and Gourmet Grocery. Relatively easy finding a place to park - no meter on street parking. Well maintained and equipped. Great customer service when needed. Thank you Lucky Savannah!!

Gret place, I loved living here for 5-6 weeks.. only problem was construction at the neighbors for 3 weeks, but not their fault.. great spot, well furnished and a great kitchen.

We stayed at Gardenview for a girls weekend to Savannah and it was the perfect fit for us. The house was adorable and well within walking distance to most of the places we went. The Lucky Savannah app was very comprehensive and gave us all of the information we needed for our stay. Also Sidney was extremely friendly and helpful!

We enjoyed our Savannah vacation in this lovely home. The gorgeous closed in garden area was perfect for morning coffee and secured our two shih tzu puppies. Walked to all downtown attractions and street parking was a breeze at the house, just read street cleaning signs. We didn't cook but kitchen is equipped to prepare a gourmet meal. Immediate response from management and easy access to house. Savannah loves dogs and most restaurants have outdoor seating and happy to have puppies visit. Love Savannah and highly recommend this lovely home . Will definitely stay here again

A wonderful home, well furnished, great location. The only problem is that the air conditioning did not cool the upstairs at all. This is an older home and perhaps there's no A/C upstairs, but it was so uncomfortably hot (even at night) that we I couldn't sleep in the bedrooms (upstairs) - I slept on the couch downstairs.

My husband and I celebrated our 35th anniversary on our first visit to Savannah. The carriage house was perfect for the 2 of us. We could walk everywhere: the historic district, Forsythe Park, and the river (the river was the longest walk-15 minutes). Kroger is 2 blocks away. We enjoyed evenings in the garden. The management company was prompt and courteous for a minor issue. The parking is free on Taylor St; just note the street cleaning signs on the weekend to see if you need to move your car overnight. It was very hot in September, but we had a marvelous time.

The Gardenview on Calhoun was a gem! The courtyard in the back was so relaxing and pretty. The location was great and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and river walk. We absolutely fell in love with Savannah and will for sure come back soon!

Our family stayed at this gorgeous property for an extended weekend prior to the onset of school. I looked at a number of rentals in Savannah and chose this one based on reviews and location.
The property was above and beyond our expectations. It was well appointed, location was perfect (walking distance to everything yet extremely quiet), and had a lovely assortment of books on sightseeing and local history.
The bathroom had minor cosmetic flaws, but given the age of the home and the climate are to be expected.
Our family felt at home immediately, would recommend this to friends, and cannot wait to return! Absolutely perfect experience.
For the haunted house buffs, we had a beautiful view of 432 Abercorn which added to the charm of the home.

This house was such a cute and quaint place in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the wood floors and the overall feel. I loved spending time reading my book in the courtyard. The only and I mean only negative I could say about the house was the bathtub didn't drain properly. We were standing ankle deep in water during our shower and it would take a long time to drain. Hopefully it will be fixed by the next renter. Loved Savannah and can't wait to go back.

We stayed in this wonderful property for my son's SCAD graduation. I can honestly say it surpassed our expectations. Great location, close to everything. Property was clean, updated kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The beautiful private courtyard was a bonus. The mangement company was very responsive to our needs. The only issue we had was the upstairs got a bit warm at night (ceiling fan did not work in master bedroom). We never called to report it because we were so busy, but I am sure they would have responded if we did. We will definitely recommend the property and plan on staying there on our next trip to Savannah.

This is a lovely vacation rental. We loved the location, decore, and outdoor garden space. Our only complaint is the bathroom tub drain. It was clogged up after our first shower and we couldn't bathe our toddler. Thankfully husband is handy and cleaned it for us without the inconvenience of calling in maintenance. I have asked for the cleaning fee up be reimbursed but have yet to hear back from management company. I realize the property is old - cleaning out the tub drain should be routine maintenance because having your paying guests pull out hair is disgusting. This won't stop us from coming back or recommending but will make sure to ask that drain is cleaned on our arrival.

I thought Savannah was a great place to be. Staying in this particular place left a bit to be desired for the amount we paid. The unit was nicely kept, but the sofa was uncomfortable. The beds were amazing, I will admit. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom did not work which made for a few uncomfortable nights. We couldn't get the wifi to activate on our phones. I was also perplexed as to why there were no dressers? No chests of drawers? Living out of a suitcase during our stay really kind of put a damper on the vacation. There's something rewarding and settling about unpacking your clothes and "moving in" to a vacation rental, and that never happened for us. Overall, I was disappointed with the rental.

This was a beautiful property in an awesome location. The garden is unbelievably peaceful. There was a musty, damp smell throughout the home that may be a problem for sensitive lungs. It was a special place for us. The floors were beautiful.

The title of this review describes our stay at this location. My two year old grandson was constantly saying he wanted to go to Mimi's House. We were so comfortable and we all felt like we were at home. The location was beautiful and was convenient to everything. The furnishings were nice and we appreciated the décor very much. The owner provided so many extra touches, i.e,. children's books and games.
We will definitely be coming back.

Renting the Cottage was easy. Finding a parking place not so easy. Had two cars both cars got $25.00 tickets, in the middle of the night, even though we had moved them once that day. Could not be a better location, only complaint with Cottage (we are 4 sisters) I could have sworn it was a bath and half, you have to go upstairs to potty and the lighting was not the best for makeup. The Cottage Living room looks just like the picture, if you look at the lounge end of the couch, that is where I slept, because there is only one TV and I am used to one at night. But that is me My sisters were find sleeping upstairs. All of us thought the Cottage adorable. Well worth the price. Did I mention I at 64 was the youngest there that is why the upstairs bathroom was a little inconvenient an the fact that it needs a half bath downstairs, I would move out the washer drying and put a half bath there.
