Beautiful

We were pleasantly surprised at how much space there was in the rental and we loved the location! It was just a short walk to many of the beautiful park squares and to shopping at Kroger. Parking was a breeze and was never crowded and it was free! The king size bed was very comfy and we enjoyed High ceilings and the private courtyard. What we didn’t like was that the bathroom was not clean. Not sure what happened since the rest of the house seemed pretty clean. Kitchen could definitely use more appliances.. There was no blender or food processor or toaster oven. The private courtyard would be so much nicer with just a little bit of attention given to it. The Table and chairs should probably be replaced and it needs a bit of sprucing up. Overall, we still liked it and thought it was a good value.

The location of this place was great and the neighborhood was quiet. No problem with parking! The only negative was the condition of the backyard. One of the reasons we chose this place was the private backyard, but it was virtually unusable. Although the hurricane had come thru 2 weeks prior, it was obvious nobody came to check on the property before our arrival. The yard had debris, to include full branches, and the table was filthy. Minus that issue, this was a great place to stay.

Overall a nice little cottage. It was mostly clean minus the toilet when we arrived was not clean (hair, urine stains). Rest of the house was nice. We appreciated the little outside back patio and though we didn’t use it the chimenea was nice. No toilet paper holder in the bathroom was an inconvenience. The steps up to the loft and railings definitely need to be updated. That is a major accident waiting to happen. The railing is loose on the side closest to the bed and the one near the bed itself should be taller, someone could easily trip and fall down to the main level. Overall I’d give this a 3.8 out of 5

Amazing location and a great, eclectic home. Probably the VRBO we have most enjoyed. Easton street parking.

Top to bottom an amazing stay. The house was spotless when I got there and with easy instructions to check in. Would definitely recommend to anyone

We stayed at the Magnolia Cottage property. Nice, clean, and in great historic setting. Many squares (parks) within walking distance. We visited most all, even with daily rain for the majority of our stay. Still beautiful places to venture. We even enjoyed Tybee beach a couple of days, as well as took in the entire Riverwalk. Great experience.

Great location, close proximity to Forsyth Park! This adorable cottage is very spacious and has all the comforts of home away from home. Parking was easy to find.

We had an excellent stay at this Charming Lofted Cottage. It was perfect for a weekend trip for my husband and I. It's close enough to all the restaurants, nightlife, and shopping!

Close enough to walk to some locations. No issues with parking. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet and the home is not bad with the exception of the fridge. I'd recommend cleaning the ledge across from the bedroom but the rest of the house was spotless. It was a wonderful spot and perfect for 2. We will likely return!

It is close enough to walk to the River Street corridor of Savannah including the conference centers. The rental was clean and quiet. Enjoyed my stay.

When we arrived the couch had flea’s. I had to spray it. The curb out front was grown up with weeds. Bed is up stairs if your old might be a problem. That’s the bad. The good is the location. Within a mile of everything. Place was clean. I guess flea’s came from a guest that wasn’t supposed to have pets.

Really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights in Magnolia Cottage. It was just as the photos depicted. Very clean apart from a couple of dead cockroaches. Must remember it was built 150+ years ago. Plenty of space and kitchen was very well equipped. Washer and drier were a great plus. Courtyard was very cute too. We were fine with the upstairs bedroom, in fact found it enjoyable. However, we could not take our suitcases to the bedroom, too awkward and heavy, but didnt bother us. This location may not suit those with ambulatory issues. Location was fine, nice quiet street, and parking was not really an issue. Was a little difficult getting out of car and across to cottage, as the pathway next to road was lined with lots of tall grass and weeds, with only one small path location to walk to pavement.
The main downtown area was certainly walkable, about 15 to 20 minutes. Loved Savannah, so much to see and experience. Great history. Great riverboat trip and loved the trolley tour. Hop on and off was a nice option. We would definitely revisit, and probably use the cottage again.

Magnolia Cottage is a quaint little place on a beautiful Live Oak and Magnolia Lined street. The reservation process was a breeze, as was check in. Spent most evenings in while out and about during daylight hours. It would have been helpful with a simple guide to using the digital flatscreen tv with ROKU service. The place was clean and most everything needed was available. It's obvious the place was built prior to having indoor electricity. Took a while to determine which switches controlled which outlets/lights. This added to the charm of Magnolia Cottage. An issue with a broken lamp (upon arrival) was quickly resolved. We stumbled upon a rideshare type app where you only pay a tip anywhere within the historic District. This could be a good thing to know prior to arrival.
Magnolia Cottage was within walking distance to several attractions and eating establishments and we took different routes daily to see more and more of the city.
We would definitely stay at Magnolia Cottage again and would wholeheartedly recommend to our friends. The dollar value was well worth it and our stay in Savannah was a terrific vacation and recharging spot

The location was fantastic - within walking distance to several shops and restaurants - and the layout was perfect. The living area was comfortable and I especially liked the small back patio. I traveled by myself but could easily see this as a couple's retreat for a week as well. Would rent again.

Cute cottage in a quiet and convenient location. Very clean and a comfortable bed. Easy walking distance to all the sites in the historic district. Free on street parking is a bonus. We had everything we needed for a stay in Savannah! The only negative is that the outside patio area needed some cleaning up.

The location is good...just a short walk to almost everything! However, since this is a loft you need to be able to climb up and down a steep staircase which was difficult for us at night. The hand rail was a reach, and the top step had a drop off on the side that could result in tripping down the steps unintentionally. The lamp in the loft bedroom was broken. There was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Toilet paper was just propped on top of the toilet. There were no soap dishes. No paper towel holder. No recycling bin outside even though all other homes on the block have two bins. The outdoor courtyard area was very haphazard with a big overgrown and uncared for central area. We still loved Savannah and our stay was nice but all of these things put together resulted in s less than stellar experience.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia Cottage in Savannah. Parking was easy, the space was perfect for our stay, the amenities in the rental were great, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the neighborhood was a great central location to explore all of Savannah in a walkable fashion, both downtown and south of downtown. It is also a quiet neighborhood so it was not noisy when trying to sleep. The outdoor space at the rental was a cherry on top to enjoy the weather while winding down in your own space. Would love to come back and stay in Magnolia Cottage again!

Highly recommend, very cute & clean. It would've cost us the same for a hotel downtown but this way we had a whole kitchen, laundry room, patio, living/dining area and lifted king bed. It's perfect for a couple. The walk downtown is about 15 mins or so but it's also close to other cool spots away from the river & tourists. Very quiet street. Close to grocery store & liquor store. Overall, very pleased.

The cottage was perfect for a long stay in savannah. There was plenty of room and everything was comfortable and clean. The property managers were very responsive. I could walk downtown easily and during the day it felt safe. Savannah is a wonderful walking city! I walked everywhere and often.

We loved our stay at Magnolia Cottage. It was on a quiet street in Savannah’s historic district and parking was free and easy there. The unit itself was cute with lots of nice amenities, including a whirlpool tub. WiFi was excellent. Checking in and out was super easy. The one thing that could be improved is the patio/courtyard—it looked neglected and could be a real cool feature if given a little attention. Great place overall and I would definitely stay here again.
