Location was Ideal for downtown Savannah. Loved the Old Historical Home. I will say I was disappointed in a few things: TV Remotes upstairs were missing batteries. The "cable" TV was very limited in channels. I would not consider this Cable. There was a very limited # of towels, hand towels and wash cloths. The Sound machines had no cord, so unable to use. I messaged the Property management company and received no response during our stay. The Couches and Chairs were uncomfortable for a Vacation Home.

Southern Charm was the perfect homeaway from home for my family of four. We were within walking distance to many restraunts, sights and shops. We were worried about the parking but our suburban was able to fit fit behind the house. The beds were comfy and the water pressure was good. I can't comment on the kitchen as we did not really cook.

We spent three nights at this beautiful home in the middle of the historic district and had a wonderful time. My husband and I and our two grown children enjoyed visiting our grandson who is a senior at SCAD. The house was perfect for the five of us with spacious rooms and beautifully furnished throughout. We walked everywhere and loved the convenience of not having to drive and constantly find parking within the city. The house was spotless and very well appointed with high-end of everything. The parking spot in the back of the house is too tight for a van, however, so we parked on the street during our stay without any issues. We had a problem with the television remote, and it was taken care of immediately. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Savannah.

The home was not only beautifully done but they really put effort in all the amenities to make it such a nice comfortable stay. The location was great, it is walkable to many places even though we chose to use Uber at times. The parking space at the home was nice, we had a small SUV and it fit perfectly. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Overall we had a great stay. We also had friends staying in another rental down the street. It was fun.
I will say THANK GOODNESS For Lucky Savannah rentals. They are a superb outfit to work with. Very pleasant, helpful and super responsive. The area is perfect if you are looking for the downtown feel. You can walk everywhere however Ubers and Lyfts are fully available. I would rent from Lucky Savannah again and again.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous home! Everything is beautifully designed to feel high end but cozy at the same time. The owner was quick to assist in needs and make us feel welcome. The location was perfect for walking to all the hot spots. We loved that the master bedroom connected to the additional room with daybed/trundle. As a parent to twin 3 years, this was the ideal set up. I definitely recommend!

This was a great location. We were able to walk everywhere but we weren't on the main strip, so it was quiet and we felt very safe. We did have one issue, and it was resolved in a matter of an hour. Beds were super comfy and there were room darkening shades. The fast chargers for phones and smart watches was a plus. I would definitely stay here again. Two things that I would add to the listing for viewers to see prior to booking are:
1. The bedrooms are upstairs with somewhat steep stairs. People with limited mobility or elderly may need that information.
2. Parking is intended for a smaller car. That information was disclosed after we had paid. We had a van, and we did use the parking, but we had to get out (no space to open the doors)and guide the driver to park between the posts of the back patio deck. Other than that, it was a great place to stay, and Lucky Savannah was very responsive!

This home is very inviting! the sign outside list it as an historical home built in the 1880's yet it is very up to date on the inside. The updates done to this home are just great! Kitchen and baths have all new cabinets and appliances and the yet they kept the cute old stuff like the fireplace, stairs and flooring. It had a well stocked kitchen and was very clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable as was the living furniture. It was a little walk to most places but is doable unless raining or really hot. I would stay here again.

Just spent a glorious 3 nights/4 days in this gem of a rental. The home is immaculately maintained, has all the needed amenities and is a short walk to downtown shopping and dining. We could not have asked for anything more, and would return in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at Lucky Savannah’s Southern Charm! Walking to downtown and around the squares was convenient. Having a parking space was perfect, so we could drive to some of the farther away attractions. The house was gorgeous!

We loved our visit to Savannah and especially enjoyed our Southern Charm vacation rental. The house was very easy to find, and the check in process was very simple. We arrived very late on one of the coldest nights Savannah has experienced in some time, but when we walked in it was cozy and warm! We were so impressed with the careful preservation and lovely decor of this historic home, which at the same time kept very true to the feel of this historic neighborhood with original fireplaces and wood floors throughout, but also had modern amenities such as google smart home hub, wireless device/watch charging, Xbox One with games for the kids, and high end smart TVs with all major streaming services.
Love, love, loved the modern kitchen! So well stocked with every conceivable high-end item a gourmet cook might need... The center island was our gathering place for wine o’clock! We enjoyed our morning Coffee outside one the pergola. The 3 upstairs bedrooms were spacious and beautifully furnished....beds very comfortable...linens crisp and luxurious. We had 3 separate parties and found the space perfect! The bathrooms were just like you would see on HGTV. The home's location is perfect and we found it to be centrally located in the beautiful historic district, a short walk to Forsyth park, the Riverside district and all points in between. We loved wandering the squares and were pleased to find one of our favorites, Whitefield square only a block away. We want to come back in spring and fall and will definitely be back to stay here at Southern Charm! Highly recommend it!

We stayed in this charming house in Savannah between Christmas and New Years. On the surface, it appears to be remodeled nicely. However, we soon discovered that the heat and air had not been split between floors. It was basically freezing downstairs and scorching upstairs. The thermostat was downstairs and it was almost impossible to stop the heat from blowing upstairs. The fan upstairs was wired from another room and lacked a pull chain so it was impossible to operate. The street side room was extremely noisy. The showers have been painted and each time a soap bar is removed, it comes back with a layer of paint on it. All of the toilets run with each flush until you manage the lever. Downstairs has a mildew smell that seems to come from the upholstery.

We did not initially plan on staying at this property, we had booked a different one and unfortunately there were some last-minute maintenance issues. After being offered several properties that we were not interested in or satisfied with changing to we ended up choosing this one. Location wise it was a little bit further away than where we wanted to be but it’s still definitely within the historic district and walking distance of everything. The home was pretty spacious, and definitely has historic charm. It was a bit cool during our stay, in the 30s and 40s at night. I know with it being an older home, there will definitely be quirks, but for some reason the heat seems to only work upstairs but way too much , it was at least a 20° difference from the upstairs to the downstairs, we were baking upstairs and shivering downstairs. The thermostat was set on 62 for the heat and it was definitely much cooler than that downstairs and definitely much much hotter than that upstairs so it was definitely a challenge to find a comfortable medium but we just bundled up downstairs and dressed lighter upstairs while sleeping. we were just disappointed that we didn’t get to stay in the place that we originally really wanted to stay at. There were features in that home that we booked specifically for but it’s all ok. We were grateful to have a weekend away. The home is definitely located on a busier street and with the home being older the window panes are thin and you will definitely hear traffic, but it wasn’t anything overly crazy noisy, but if you’re a light sleeper keep that in mind. Especially the front bedroom. There are two full bathrooms upstairs however there is absolutely no counter space in either bathroom. Both bedrooms do have ceiling fans and TVs with full cable as well as the downstairs with full cable and that was a definite added bonus. All in all it was nice and clean.

Our rental home was absolutely wonderful! The house was so beautiful and historic and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and a grocery store. The street noise can be loud at night, but that was the only downside, but I’m not used to any noise at home. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!!!!

I'm not sure why none of the reviews have mentioned this, but the traffic noise coming off of the street made it very difficult to sleep past 6 a.m. since the head of the master bed is on a wall next to the street and the walls are thin. We too had an issue with the AC but the maintenance person was out very promptly. Minimal kitchen supplies. Just an okay stay. I wouldn't stay here again.

Clean house, lots of towels, 20min walk to main downtown area or 5 min Uber ride. 30min Uber to Tybee beach. Great place. Not a lot of plates or cups so bring some throw awayables! Great stay.

We had a group of 8 and we fit very comfortably with enough sleeping arrangements for everyone. Great location. The bedroom upstairs next to the master suite has a full bathroom but the tub doesn't drain well and needs a longer shower curtain, but overall that was a minor inconvenience.

We rented Southern Charm for a Girls’ Trip to Savannah. It was perfect! The location is within walking distance of the entire downtown area. The only problem we encountered was that we requested and paid for late checkout only to find the door code wouldn’t work upon our return from lunch. This required a call to Lucky Savannah in order to receive a new code. As we had planes to catch, not being able to enter the house and retrieve our luggage caused several nervous moments.

The home was very spacious and in a good location. About a 20-25 minute walk to river street and felt like a safe walk even at night. 8 girls stayed in the house for a bachelorette party and had plenty of room! This is savannah and the south and there are bugs everywhere. The lucky Savannah staff was great and very helpful and knowledgeable of the area.

First of all, here are the positives about the house. Modern upgrades in kitchen (cookware was not the best) and bathrooms. Good location and walking distance to free shuttle and good restaurants. Nice to have TV's in both bedrooms. This house, however, is probably better suited to rent in warmer weather. Our group did not expect Savannah to be warm in February, but we did expect the house to be warm. Standing inside by the front door, the 50 degree temperature was pouring through the front door mail slot and all around the frame. The living room was just off the foyer and there was a small space heater only. Since heat rises, to increase temp of thermostat too much, the bedrooms were extremely warm. The overhead fan in 2nd bedroom was on and there was no way to turn it off. We called Lucky Savannah, and a maintenance person was sent out the day before we left. He was unable to repair it. We recommended to Lucky Savannah that the owner needed to replace the whole unit. I only gave them a 3 star because of the delay in responding, but they are professional in all other dealings.

This property is in a good location...15-20 minute walk to downtown area and many other attractions. Beds were very comfortable and house was clean upon arrival. Only suggestion is to get a runner on the inside stairs as they are steep and slippery.

This worked out perfectly for our needs on this trip. The 100+ year old house is in great repair and close to restaurants and historic sites. Parking is okay if you know what to expect. Street parking is scarce at times and involves closures one night a week for street sweepers. Parking in rear of house is handy but for smaller vehicles. Garbage runs (presumedly through the alley) on Thursdays and it's crowded. But that's not to take away from a unique experience.

Seven of my family members enjoyed a "girls" weekend in Savannah, March 2-5. We loved our stay at Southern Charm. This house was easily accessible to the Trolley line and all that we wanted to do while we were there. It had been remodeled beautifully and, with the exception of no sheets for the trundle bed, our needs were completely met. The parking space behind the house is definitely for a compact car, but I managed to get my Ford Taurus parked in it. Unmetered street parking is available in front of the house. Great experience!

Could not have picked a better location to stay for our Savannah weekend. The house was clean and safe. It had MANY amenities we loved (heaters were greatly appreciated!) The house had a lot of charm and the location to downtown was fantastic. The grocery store was accessible by driving OR walking. There was a great booklet on the coffee table that gives many suggestions on things to do. I highly recommend and would stay again!

Although we enjoyed our stay (2 couples) previous reviews are true to form. Disparity in cool temp downstairs and heat upstairs. Parking very tight. House is tired. Bedroom on street side endures lots of passing traffic noise. Street side bathroom plastic form tub peeling away in large sections, slow drainage & water damage on ceiling that looks like it's going to come down any day now. Slept with bathroom door closed because of high pitched noise coming from a/c vent. Slow drainage in downstairs 1/2 bath sink. Kitchen equipped OK but only 2 wine glasses. ADT alarm malfunctioned in trouble mode repeatedly waking us. Interior stairway railing very rickety and potentially dangerous. Exterior stairs at back of house has several loose treads. Front stairs have no railing at all. Megan at Lucky Savannah incredibly helpful and very professional.

This house was beautiful, we loved the historic charm and the neighborhood was excellent! Very walkable. Parking was always easy to find, on street as well. We traveled here for thanksgiving with our 3 small children. We had a wonderful trip!
A couple things to note- if you have small children I would recommend possibly bringing a gate. This is an old home and the stairs are extremely steep, with a wiggly bannister upstairs. So be careful. Additionally the heat was much to be desired. Upstairs it was probably 90 degrees, while downstairs it was 60 degrees. This was a little bit of an issue for us, but again, I know it’s an old home.

We had a wonderful time in Savannah. We spent three nights at Southern Charm and were truly delighted with the space and it's location. The large bedrooms fit us perfectly (two couples and two children) and we enjoyed the convenience of the full kitchen and living room/dining. We were within walking distance of the center of the historic district, probably about 15 mins walk, but we felt the location was very easy for getting around whether walking or if we wanted to drive there was always lots of parking easy to find for cheap or free. Nice stay and we are happy to recommend the place.
For dinners you must try The Public Kitchen and Bar and Savannah Seafood Shack then head to Leopold's for the best ice cream in the world!

I'm usually responsible for lodging when booking our Girls Trips. We normally stay in a boutique hotel that provides free breakfast, as that's what the majority of the group prefers. This time I told them I was making an executive decision & prayed they'd all be onboard. I'd looked at all the online pictures at least 10 times before finally booking this property.
I arrived at the property before the rest of the ladies, and the exterior wasn't what I was expecting. I also know that the parking space in the back accommodated a small car....but you have to have a REALLY small car for it to fit back there. I was able to find parking on a side street one street over, so that wasn't bad at all.
Upon opening the door, I was met with exactly what the pictures portrayed. The inside of this property is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! The home itself is older, but that's what adds to the charm. High ceilings, tall windows, hardwood floors, towering staircases...now this is what Savannah is all about!!! And the bed in the master bedroom.....you just sink down in it & want to stay forever.
I got 2 Thumbs Up for picking Lucky Savannah & now we will be using private rentals going forward on our trips. The access code to the unit worked without fail. The internet access worked. There was cable television. The kitchen was stocked with enough of everything that we needed for our stay.

Absolutely loved this house, from its historic charm to all the modern conveniences. Can't say enough about the the comfortable beds, they felt so good after a fun filled day. Our vehicle was too big to park out back, but like was mentioned in the reviews, parking never was a problem, was always able to park across the street for free. This was the first time for us to travel to Savannah and it is such a gorgeous city and staying in this home made the trip complete. Highly recommend this vacation rental.

We loved everything about the rental. It was close to anywhere we needed to get, accommodated all 8, however we had to call to ask for extra blankets. That didn't leave a blanket for every bed. But when I called, they were very responsive and took care of everything needed promptly. One shower only gave cold water, and the other that have got water was clogged and wouldn't drain properly. But other than that, it was perfect for what we needed.

We rented this for 30-year high school reunion of four long-time friends from across the country, plus a few locals. The minute we walked in, it was like we stepped right into the beautiful photos -- only better. Every detail was just lovely. Clean, pretty, great decor and classic character. With several guests to accommodate, there was more than enough sleeping space. The location was great. Yes, the patio was small and parking was tight, but that's small stuff compared to the benefits. None of us wanted to leave. And we'd return in a second. Thank you, Lucky Savannah, for your attention, care, patience and an overall perfect experience. Everything was super smooth from booking, check in, and check out. We were very happy with the location-enjoying the walks in all directions. There was evidence of a black pet with a previous stay, and you can hear the traffic or the neighbor snoring if you're a light sleeper, but neither of these ings were an issue for me. I definitely would recommend this rental, including the parking spot for a land rover-which we determined fit best with the hood under the back porch. This is a beautiful home, and we were glad to have it as part of our Savannah experience.

Perfect! First time renting a house sight unseen. Layout was great - downstairs was spacious and perfect for entertaining. Two huge bedrooms each with full bath upstairs - very comfortable! We could walk everywhere and probably logged in about 30 miles over 4 days! Great location, easy parking. We would rent this property again for sure! Savannah is an awesome city!

The only problem we had was with the heat, seems like it stays warmer on the upper level than the main level. SOLVED THE PROBLEM BY CLOSING SOME REGISTERS ON THE UPPER LEVEL.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming home,with historic snd unique touches but all the modern amenities needed.
The beds were super comfortable and there was so much space to stretch out without feeling crowded for our family of 4.
Both my 18 yr old and 11 yr old gave it full marks.
We walked everywhere from this house in the historic district.
The flush was not working in one of the bathrooms when we arrived but the company was very responsive and got it fixed in good time.
We went to Little Tybee one day,just a short drive away,not to be missed.
All in all,a wonderful vacation and we would recommend this rental to anyone.

Fabulous location. We parked our car upon arrival & never used it until we left town. Walking, Uber, & bikes got us everywhere. Recommend Saturday morning Farmers' Market in Forsyth Park, seafood market on Habersham, outdoor patio @ Blowin' Smoke Cantina, Mansion Hotel for late nite jazz in the bar, Mate Factor for sandwiches, & Sentient Bean for coffee. My four girl friends and I had a mini reunion trip and wanted to stay in a house rather than a hotel so we could have more space to hang out together. The Southern Charm worked out great for us. It was very clean and located in a spot that was very easy to walk to most places we wanted to visit. We were very happy with our stay. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable!
