The house was very comfortable and spacious for the six of us (four adults and two little kids). The twin bed with the rollout were perfect for the kids. As for location, we were with a ten minute walk to most things while also being out of the way of any loud music / parties at night. Finally, the Washington square right in front of the house was so great to have ... provided an easy space for the kids to let themselves loose a bit.

My wife, son, and daughter-in-law spent a long weekend at this property in order to attend a family wedding. The location is perfect - Washington Square and the surrounding neighborhood is great, quiet / peaceful / tranquil, and only one block to Bay St.
The property is very well appointed, kitchen supplies are good quality and included everything we needed, bedrooms / beds are comfortable, bathrooms are great, and everything was clean and tidy.
Lucky Savannah provided clear direction and was very responsive to questions.
Definitely recommend this property.

We very much enjoyed staying at Southern Grace for the weekend! Super convenient to EVERYTHING! You can walk to River Street, City Market, etc from here. House was stocked perfectly and very comfort for our party of 6 ladies. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and loved every minute being in Savannah!

Our stay at Southern Grace couldn't have been better. The home was beautiful and comfortable.
The property managers were helpful and prompt at assisting us when needed.
The kitchen was small but it had all the space we needed, the appliances were top notch.
The view into Washington Square was beautiful, and the ability to walk to many places was so convenient.

The house was wonderfully located so we could walk to restaurants and shopping. There was plenty of room for us to hang out and it was super comfortable. The floors were a little dirty when we got there so we got out the brooms to sweep up since my son likes to play on the floor but that was the only small issue.

Two colleagues and I had great stay at the townhouse when we were in Savannah for a professional convention. The property is clean, well-updated, and conveniently located near all of the things we needed and wanted to do while we were in town. The river ferry and convention center are a short walk away, as are tons of shops, restaurants, and beautiful wooded squares and parks of old downtown. The property is well stocked with various amenities and the management company was easy to work with and extremely responsive when we had questions about the WiFi and the check-in/out procedures. I would - and intend - to stay here again!

The Southern Grace is located in an excellent location. It is in walking distance to practically everything you will need for a wonderful visit to historic Savannah! Parking was very conveniently located near the VRBO and only cost $8 per day. The Southern Grace is located directly in front of one of the many neighborhood parks, which was great for evening gatherings and drinks. The only thing that made this location less than desirable were the beds. Both the queen and king beds in the house were unstable and uncomfortable. It felt as if they were on some type of unbalanced frame that rocked and shifted with the slightest movement. This made for restless nights after the wonderful daily excursions. This could be a great location that I would love to revisit if the beds were improved.

We had a wonderful stay in Savannah and Southern Grace was the perfect location for us to launch from every day comfortably. The pros include overall cleanliness, plenty of space for our small group, comfortably decorated, the location (easy to get to both the river and southern historic district, square right across the street), and the kitchen having everything we needed. The cons would be a shared wall with other renters, recognition that you are in a city so things like street sweepers, garbage trucks, etc will disrupt sleep (bring a noise maker), squishy mattresses, and the courtyard needed a good wipe down to be comfortable.

Quiet location, but close enough to walk to most things. Mayer shower nice but had no shelves to put soap, shampoo ect. Had to put on floor. Not the safest to have to bend over to keep picking up your items to clean with. The dinning room had very minimal
Lightning. Cute little chandelier but the lights are VERY dim and useless. It would be nice to have a “How to use guide for TV”. Overall all comfy place and I would stay again. Staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating!

This townhome is very quaint, and in a great location for historic district activities. The two main bedrooms are comfortable. The third from is definitely best suited for children as the room is very small and the beds are not as comfortable. We had a great day and made many happy memories.

Great location. Good space for 3 adults and 2 kids we had. Kitchen small but fridge space wonderful and had all we needed. Oddly the master bed is a queen and the other room has the king. Master bed mattress needs replaced as of July 2023 super springy and you sink and roll to center very uncomfortable.

This is a lovely town home. Loved the extra bathroom and the location was so nice and quiet for the most part. One night we had a loud group out in the square. Sound machines would be nice. Other downside was that the windows upstairs didn’t open. But overall it is a lovely place and a great location.

We only used car to go to Bonaventure! Close to riverside and squares too, pirate house is right around the corner.
All bathrooms were well equipped and clean. Bedrooms are roomy, would suggest a mattress upgrade for the ensuite bedroom though. All other appointments are very nice.

Southern Grace was perfect for our group of six ladies celebrating over 40 years of friendship. There was plenty of room, the beds were comfortable, the location couldn't have been better. We had an issue with a truck taking the cable/internet wire off the house and they were there immediately taking care of the situation. They brought a Verizon hotspot so internet was available. The house was super clean, the decor was beautiful, and the chandeliers in every room added to the southern charm of Savannah. The trolley picked up a few houses down. River and Bay Streets were a short walk away. It couldn't have been a better location or house and would stay there again in a heartbeat. We loved our stay at Southern Grace. Historically appropriate but nicely updated. One suggestion would be to add some lamp lighting in the living room. Only light available was the ceiling light and it was a little harsh. Otherwise, all was perfect!

We really found this to be exactly what we needed. It was a getaway for my wife and me; the home is spacious, quiet, and clean, and everything worked just fine. There was never a reason to call about anything. The location is a short walk to everything we needed to do (after all, it is Savannah). We would definitely go back if we returned to Savannah.

ACCOMMODATIONS WERE NICE. LOCATION WAS GOOD JUST OUTSIDE OF DOWNTOWN A 5-10 MIN WALK. WE HAD 5 LADIES COULD OF HAD ONE MORE PERSON, BUT NOT MORE THEN THAT TO BE COMFORTABLE. OVERALL THE HOUSE WAS NICE, CLEAN, UPDATED AND WE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

We booked a place that turned out to be more for young couples. My husband and I were traveling with our teenage children and needed something a little different. Jamilla immediately found us the perfect place; Southern Grace. She was so helpful and made sure everything was perfect. Amanda sent us the new information and went out of her way to make sure we received all we needed. Everyone at Luck Savannah went above and beyond our expectations and we will always use them when traveling to Savannah. The home was stunning. It was spotless, had everything we needed, and was such a wonderful expoerence. I just can’t say enough. The location was spectacular. We walked everywhere and parked right bybhe home. Can’t wait to come back!!

House is very historic-loved it! There were a few things it could add for convenience-such as hot pads, coffee filters and more than the one dish towel, but overall, we loved the house and the location was ideal! The city is absolutely amazing. Any issue we had w/the house was quickly responded to.

The house is clean, well-maintained and well appointed for a girls weekend. The kitchen is small but it has all of the necessities for a vacation. On the second floor, there are two moderately sized BR's, one small one (twin bed) and two full bath rooms. Also it has one full bath on the first floor. It is located close to the river the restaurants and the shops. It's about a mile
or more so walk to the City Market so bring comfy shoes if you want to go there... or Uber ($6-7). Our first trip to Savannah and it was easy to walk everywhere. It was a perfect space for 3 ladies!

We loved it! The house was beautiful charming warm and very much southern grace. It was like being at home. Our family enjoyed our stay at the house and savannah. The house the city and the people of savannah were very welcoming and friendly. We are looking forward to a return trip to savannah. hopefully sometime soon.

The home was very easy to find. It's was on a quiet street. Parking was great if you could get a spot on the road beside the house, which we did. We bought a parking pass at the visitors center before going to the property so we could avoid the hassle of the pay boxes. It was located right in front of a beautiful little park square. There wasn't a lot of foot traffic on this side of town so it was like our own personal oasis. It was super close to every thing...and we walked everywhere. We felt safe and for a group of females that's important.
The house was clean and comfortable...the only thing missing was a microwave--who doesn't put a microwave in a rental??? There was still trash in the unit when we arrived but we guessed they just missed pulling it from the basket. The door is a little tricky to lock--you actually have to hold the door closed and then push the lock button for it to engage. We called the rental company to help with this and finally figured out the "hold it shut" part on our own. It took multiple phone calls to speak with someone at the rental office. It was a roomy home and very quiet. The beds were super comfortable. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms that we were thankful for. The 3 bathrooms were a plus. They were clean and updated.
Overall it was a great house in an excellent location and we would love to go back!!

My family and I spent 5 days / 4 nights at Southern Grace in Savannah. The short version of this review: Property is historic, immaculately kept, comfortable, great amenities, and the location is wonderful. That said, the property was built in 1878, so expect tons of charm at the costs of some soundproofing (the windows seem to be original, glazed, single pane you will hear some street sweeping, a river boat horn, etc.). I would stay here again. Want more info? Read on!
As I mentioned, the place was built in 1878. It is located right on Washington Square on the northeast side of the historic district. It is away from the party scene, but walkable to anywhere in the historic district. The location was safe and nice, with plenty of historic homes. Parking is a breeze. We never had to look for parking, and the ParkSavanah app let's you easily arrange payment. Parking is free from 8pm to 8am. We considered staying near Forsyth Park (which is very nice, maybe more transitional in some areas), but the walk is a bit longer to any of the major sights. I was happy we stayed in the Historic District.
As for the property, the place is great. Couches are comfortable, Kitchen is small, but up to date. The place was really well-kept...the pictures are spot on. It is all kinds of great design and modern convenience in a historic building. There are three full baths (two up, one down). The sofa converts to a sleeper, but we did not use it. Upstairs, one bed is a queen, and has an ensuite with rain shower, double vanity, and laundry should you need it. It is a huge bathroom. The other BR is a very comfortable King. This room has natural light from two sides and is lovely. There is also a small trundle room suitable for kids that is separate.
Finally, Lucky Savannah was a great rental company. Their app worked flawlessly. I've rented a lot of vacation homes, and these guys know what they are doing. Everyone I spoke with was extremely helpful. Highly recom

Location was fantastic and the home was exactly as described. All of our guests were extremely comfortable. The team at Lucky Savannah was superb and addressed any questions/issues professionally and expediently. The only thing that could have made our trip slightly more comfortable was that the ice machine was functioning very, very slowly throughout our stay.
