The whole process of booking/paying/getting updates/check in and out was so simple.
The house was clean in a perfect location and communication was exceptional.
I will be sure to use Lucky Savannah on my next visit!

Staying at Wakefield Cottage was nice.
The bathrooms need to be updated and there was no dish washer which we expected. There is a water leak in one bathroom which I think could be easily fixed. I felt safe walking around and found the location convenient. Did not move our car except to go to my meeting place.

Great location. Images make it look a bit nicer than it is, but a "comfortable" stay. No dishwasher which wasn't awful for us but if you plan to cook at home, not many "tools." Bathrooms need updating. great location.

All good. Location was good walked everywhere. Nice quiet street.

The cottage is perfect for small parties (2 maybe 3). Bathrooms are small with not much space to put cosmetics, etc. We experienced a few problems with the tub leaking in one bathroom and a skylight leaking when it rained in the other. Unfortunately both issues needed repairs that would be intrusive to our stay so we agreed to let them fix it after we left. I'm guessing management needs to walk through the place more frequently or get better feedback from their cleaners. Cleaning people might consider sweeping the courtyard (which was fabulous) and wiping the outside furniture before new arrivals. Otherwise, the place was quaint and comfortable and close to everything (easy walking distance) but on a quiet street.

545 was the cutest little cottage perfect for a weekend away with my 2 young adult daughters. We were easily able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go and close to be able to get on the Old Town trolley for further away locations. The cottage was adorable and clean and a relaxing place to rest after our daily adventures. We will definitely be back!

Cute little house with just enough room for 4. The decor was lovely, beds comfy and kitchen had just the right items for a short weekend visit for the St Patrick’s Day parade. The pillows on the twin beds were very uncomfortable but Lucky Savannah replaced them at our request. The big disappointment was the leaky skylight in the bathroom. Of course it had to rain and my husband and I were both shocked when we stepped in water in the middle of the night during a bathroom break. We reported to the office first thing in the morning and they promptly sent someone out. The temporary fix didn’t work as it rained again and leaked again. Location was at the edge of the historic district. Would probably stay a little more central next time. 5th time to Savannah and love it more each time.

The Wakefield Cottage was very cozy. I think it would be great for a couple with small kids. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. The second bedroom is a bit strange. It seems like it was an add on so the heating (and I imagine cooling in the summer) doesn't work as well in the back bedroom. Also you have to walk through the main bedroom to get out of the second bedroom. There was no dishwasher. We were so happy with the management company Lucky Savannah. They were so prompt and attentive to our needs. Even brought us a large pot so I could cook a batch of soup. I would definately rent from this company again as they provided exceptional customer service which made our stay enjoyable.

We had a Mom’s weekend and it was a perfect place to stay. The courtyard in the back was a nice break from the walking around town. It’s definitely a great place for a small group. Quiet and safe neighborhood

Great location for walking everywhere - we just parked the car in the allotted space located in the alley. The back room addition was a bit warm but we utilized the fans that were provided. One big problem: Big Rain came and we had water leakage by the fireplace in the living room and in the back bedroom. Happened twice - I hope they got that fixed!

The rental experience was great and ifyou just need a place to sleep-the cottage is a good fit. Very small bathrooms with no counter space/shelving to place toiletries, the shower is also tight. Living are and kitchen also small. I would prefer something larger. Property was very clean and close to everything we wanted to see while in Savannah. I recommend Lucky Savannah to anyone-just not this particular property due to it's size.

Our small group loved this beautiful historic house conveniently located in the historic district. It had everything we needed. We drove a large SUV to Savannah from Virginia and the parking space in the back was big enough for our vehicle to fit! The bedroom nearest the back door had a beautiful sky light that filled the room with natural light during the day and a beautiful view of the full moon during the night. The location of the house is in a quiet area. Great vacation spot!

Pros - Great location for walking! Easy check-in and check-out. Cute, very clean and well sized for our family of three. Great to have an off street parking spot. Love the back patio.
Cons - Bathrooms are small, one is very dated and doesn't have much privacy because of the louvered door. The living room is awkward to hang out in.

Good location. Had to wash all the dishes because they were greasy and visibly dirty; this made us wonder about the cleanliness of the other linens. Limited towels for the kitchen and bathroom would have been impossible for more than two people, as we had to use the bathroom towels for the window leak and the kitchen. Management was available and helpful.

We enjoyed staying in this cottage. However, the patio area needs some major work. It was very hard to walk on the bricks, the patio table was not stable and one of the chairs was broken. The is the first cabin we have stayed in that did not have wine glasses. We did not bring any and had to go out and buy some. Kitchen had no slotted cooking spoons.

Great location at the quiet end of town and very quaint. Nice courtyard. Loved the kitchen and nook. Shotgun style 3 room means the people in the master need to pass through the 2nd bedroom to get to the courtyard and the people in the 2nd bedroom must pass through the master to get to the kitchen. There is even a window (Where the end of the home used to be) between the master and 2nd (so we could wave to our daughter from our bed to hers in the room beside us). Probably good if you have little kids to keep an eye on, but not great for parents with a 16 year old. Internet never worked despite a couple of calls (second one never returned) and no cold water on Sunday morning.

Nice home in the middle of everything! The cottage was comfortable and met our needs. My only comment is regarding the furniture, it is not comfortable. The WiFi was not working during our stay but we weren’t in the cottage that much during the stay.

From booking to departure, everything was smooth and seamless with Lucky Savannah/Flipkey. The Lucky Savannah app was great for communicating and referencing when local information was needed.
The house is just as it is pictured. It is quaint, however, there was plenty of room for our family of four + dog (in create). It is nicely furnished. the linens for bed and bath are of good quality. Being an older home, do not expect a fully modern set-up, however, you will have everything you need for a great stay.
The house is in the perfect location to get everywhere in downtown Savannah. Just put on your walking shoes and go! We were able to get to everything with a 15-20 minute walk or 5 - 10 minute drive.
There are only two areas of improvement - the quality of the mattress in the mattress in the Master bedroom AND the cleanliness of the dishes in the kitchen. The mattress is uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. We found a number of dishes and pots that had been poorly cleaned in the cabinets when we went to use them. This may be a simple change with housekeeping.

Perfect for a family of four, cute, and great location in walking distance in the historical district. We loved walking through the beautiful squares and taking our dog to the park/square across the street. Reserved parking spot was very welcome feature. Nice little courtyard with chairs & table for hanging out. Rental company was very responsive with our questions and requests. We ate breakfast at the cottage. Not equipped for complicated or gourmet cooking. Savannah is full of wonderful places to eat, though. The cottage needed a thorough spring cleaning because the cleaning crew did what I would call a cursory cleaning. Also, there were a few small things in need of repair which makes it appear they are getting ready to renovate. If you plan to spend most of your time going out, eating out sightseeing, etc. and want to be in a great location, it fits the bill.

We have stayed here before and find it always clean and welll maintained. The fact it has a very nice courtyard that you can sit at and enjoy a glass of wine after a day of roaming this great city. Our dog enjoys the space as well.
As far as location it is perfect. just of Broughton where we tend to hang out a lot, A couple block to the river if we are in the mood fora touristy time. and a short walk to liberty and just a bit further to Forsythe Park.
The only change I would make to this place is moving the TV so it can be viewed from the couch easier. (switch ther chair and TV space) Otherwise we really reccomend this place!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lucky Savannah and Wakefield Cottage. The cottage was in a great location to experience all historic Savannah has to offer. We were steps away from Washington Square, the Pirate House, and River Street. All the historic sites we wanted to visit were only a 15 min or less walk. The cottage itself was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. We enjoyed the courtyard and the privacy this old home afforded us. The staff at Lucky Savannah made the experience so easy. They were friendly and professional from beginning to end. Thank you for a wonderful historic Savannah experience!

We loved the location, the rental was clean and was very convenient to every thing, We had one issue which was on our last day/night there was a very strong weather system that came thru the area and the skylight in the back started to leak as soon as we noticed it we cleared out our electronics and called they responded well and sent someone over but due to the storm he couldn't get up on the roof to tarp the skylight they sent house keeping over to mov e one of the beds and remake with clean sheets, but we had towels and buckets all over the room, I requested a partial refund and the young man said he would get with management, got a call from Jamela on 10/8 requested a partial refund for saturday she said she would get back to me by the end of the week well as of today 10/22 have not heard from anyone, so I'm disappointed that there has been no follow up.

Wakefield Cottage was just about perfect for our family of 3. My husband and I took our 8 year old and our golden retriever to Savannah for fall break.
Having stayed 2 doors down in March I was comfortable with the area, knew there was a square walking distance for the dog, and that we were close to the things we wanted to do and see.
The beds were clean and comfortable, kitchen adequate (we just made coffee and heated up left overs) and parking/access to the house was a breeze.
We had a slight roof or skylight leak during the night on night 2 but maintenance came out the next day and fixed it and housekeeping brought fresh linens for that bed.
Being that the house is as old as it is, there are certainly some things that could be caulked/patched but we recognized that this home is old and overlooked it.
The only totally confusing thing was that we were left with 3 dishwasher tabs, but we never found the dishwasher...lol.
Staff was friendly and easy to reach both for booking and check in questions. If we come back to Savannah, we will book with Lucky Savannah again.

It was a great getaway for me and my mother. Although the road work in front of property was a bummer, it was no fault of property management. The road workers were very courteous as we came and was the quietest place I have ever stayed in my 5 trips to Savannah. I love Savannah.

My mom, sister, and I went to Savannah as a celebration of my mom's 75th birthday. Wakefield Cottage is perfectly located on the edge of the historic district and walking distance to a lot of places!
There had been rain, and unfortunately, the skylight leaked in the second bedroom before we got there, and we didn't discover the leak and the wet bed until close to 1 am. There was also an issue with the hot water faucet in the main bathroom. However, Lucky Savannah had someone over the next day to take care of things, plus we were given a refund for one night's stay which was very generous and kindly received.
Other than those issues, we absolutely adored Wakefield Cottage. It's located in a very pleasant and lovely neighborhood, and just a block or so away from Pirate's House which is also a stop on a couple different hop-on/hop-off tours which is super convenient. It's also very close to River Street and Bay Street which offer a large selection of restaurants, shops, and more local Savannah fun.
The cottage has a parking space (so great!) and the automated lock systems on the doors made us feel very safe (it's a safe neighborhood anyway, but still!) We went to the nearby Kroger's for some snacks and other items to keep in the house, but we walked to many different places nearby to eat (Boar's Head Tavern, Olde Pink House, Tondee's to name a few).
Staying in Wakefield Cottage made our visit to Savannah a very special one that we won't soon forget!

My daughter was getting married and we were bringing my son’s dog. He howls when left alone so I didn’t want anything with shared walls. We chose this little cottage because of that. I was nervous booking something sight unseen, but it was perfect! Great location for walking to downtown and the river. The enclosed courtyard was great for the dog and entertaining. It was clean and spacious. We had three adults and 1 dog and never felt cramped. I am looking forward to my next stay there!

This is a cute cottage on a quiet street within walking distance to much of historic Savannah. The free Dot bus around the area is helpful to hop on and off as needed.
It is an old house so there are some quirks, like needing to have the light switch turned on in the back bedroom in order to use the outlets and overall having few outlets available.

We comfortably fit my wife and I and two kids in this cozy home. It is located near enough to everything to be able to walk , but just off the beaten path enough to not have much foot traffic. My only criticism is the back pattio area is a little overgrown and did not leave much room to move. When we return to Savannah this will be the first place I look to rent.

The cottage is in a great location, it’s a short walk to river street and the historic district. The private fenced in courtyard was perfect for our dog. The cottage is cozy and suited our needs. Nothing fancy but it had all the essentials and the bed was comfortable. We would stay here again for the location, the private courtyard and mostly because they allow large dogs at this particular property which seems pretty rare. Also, lucky savannah was very easy to work with, the app I downloaded on my phone made the process seamless.

Visited Savanah for the 1st time and also was running the marathon. We were displaced from our original booking place due to unpredicted circumstances. The rental company was helpful in finding another place. The Wakefield Cottage was charming but not modern or luxurious as our original booking therefore I may be a bit bias already but the home is old and if you have that in mind to start with, it truly is a lovely home. Parking spot was a plus. Location was fine. We couldn't not get the wifi to work and the fuse would go off if we used more that one form of appliance in the home. Especially if you use hair dryer. I would have enjoyed the home more if I know exactly what to expect but nonetheless we made it work and had a nice time.

First let me say this was a fine place to stay. My daughter and granddaughter stayed with us and this cottage is perfect for a family with kids. Full bed and two twins. Very cool second bathroom crafted from original brick porch. Has the basics in kitchen needs and a TV in every room. Perfect location for walking. Four blocks from River Street just off the square between Broad and Price. The downside was that the second bedroom is accessed through the main bedroom which wasn't ideal. Also the second bedroom has a skylight which allows beautiful morning light in. I loved it but one might not if they are trying to sleep. That being said I would stay again.

My experience with this rental property was fantastic! Lucky Savannah is truly Southern Hospitality at its finest.
Everything from the check in all the way to the check out was trouble free. The place was very clean, cozy, bed was amazingly comfortable. Only suggestions I have are minor and really for the owner. I would replace the sofa, update the ottoman and make the courtyard a bit more pleasant by adding a few more plants, taking care of the weeds. But overall, I enjoyed my morning coffee in the courtyard. My stay was nothing but FABULOUS! I cannot wait to go back.

Wakefield Cottage provided the perfect weekend escape with friends. We loved our experience and the luxury of having our own private space complete with courtyarded backyard (and your own parking space). The online photos do the space no justice-the cottage is very chic, clean and equipped with everything you could ever need. No matter how long the visit you will wish that you could stay for longer!

Stopped for 3 nights stay in Savannah on return from Florida at this adorable cottage. Excellent location and parking space is added bonus. Only downside is it is really not well outfitted to cook a meal as utensils etc are limited. Also you must walk through one bedroom to get to 2nd but both have baths. So if either of those points are not an issue, it is a wonderful place with a nice fenced in courtyard. Would definitely book again!

Good. Ceiling fans would help with air flow especially in the bedrooms. Also additional spoons would help as there were only two spoons in the whole place. Need a spaghetti pan too.

Great little place to stay. Very close to Riverfront and the market. Walking distance to just about everything.
Very quaint. Two bedrooms two baths decent sizes. Towels a bit thin but they gave us plenty for our two night stay.
It was cold when we went. It took a little bit of time for the back bedroom to warm up but once it did there was no problems.
The kitchen was stocked but I probably wouldn't cook a full meal in it. Great for quick breakfast or to heat up something for lunch. Glasses in cabinet were dirty, we had to wash thoroughly before we drank out of them.
Overall a great place to lay your head while touring about Savannah. The beds were wonderful!! Very comfy.
The ap was great. All the info we needed and they kept us up to date on everything, even early check in if we needed it.
Highly recommend this little cottage!

Place was right for location and easy to find. Parking was in the back so a good spot. House was good for our family of 4. Back bedroom had a sun light so kids were not able to sleep in which was fine since I wanted to get out earlier in the morning.
It was a bit cramped with the back bathroom. Shower in there was nice but the rest was like an RV. If you have electronics, bring an extension cord as there are few outlets and the ones closest to the beds are taken by lights and other equipment already there. They had Wi-Fi but it was very slow. The equipment said it had 5G and 2.4G but only had one sign on so do not think we got 5G. Speeds were around 3-12M.
No dishwasher yet had Finish dishwasher tablets. Made me laugh a bit. There was only 2 spoons but had 6 forks.
Back gate had an opening under that would let our dogs get out so had to put something under it. It also was very hard to open but once we found you had to hit the very top before it would open, we were okay. Courtyard was great for relaxing.
Overall it was a good experience.

My husband and I have stayed there before years ago. My friends and I were a little disappointed that we couldn't sit out and enjoy the backyard. we did not realize the cushions were in a deck box until the day we left. I also found the back gate very hard to open, the top of gate sticks and I couldn't lock the gate from the inside, it was hard to turn the key. My friends and I thought there should have been more towels. We did have issues using the TV. My girlfriend had to call her husband to give her instructions on how to get the channels. You need to have some information on that. Other than those minor issues, my 2 girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay there.

The cottage was great for our weekend getaway. Our party included two couples, and the cottage was a great space for us. We loved the courtyard in the back and appreciated how close the cottage was to shopping, food and fun. The only downside is that you have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the second bedroom. However, each bedroom had it's own bath. Overall very positive experience.

Walk thru access to second bedroom a little auquard for two couples.

we were in savannah for the rock n roll marathon/half. The house was very convenient to the starting line. We were able to see the start and then walked to various points along the race course to catch up with our runner and then to the finish line. By the end of the day, we had walked over 8 miles!!!! we only moved the car once the entire stay.
The house is very convenient to River Street; close enough to be included in activities but far enough away also. The Pacci Restaurant and the Pirate House were a short distance away. Very different menus, but can recommend both.
We ate dinner at the Public Kitchen. Manager and staff were very willing to make changes or split a meal.
we had some issues with back gate and back entrance. we couldn't figure out how to lock the back door from the outside and gate required some extra effort to open. not a show stopper as we just locked the back door from the inside and walked around to the car.
House is one block from Broad St. so you hear street traffic but not enough to be bothersome.
We travel to Savannah during the summer for a trade show and would love to stay here again, but alas, no swimming pool.
we made dinner in one night and there is not a large pot for cooking spaghetti. We made it work but i would suggest buying a 4-qt stock pot.
We didn't have any occasion to contact the property managers but i'm sure they would have been right on it. Loved the text messages to keep us informed about the status of our checkin and that we could do early checkin.
Savannah is a history laden town - If are you a history buff and have time, take the tours at The First African Baptist church,Mickve Israel Temple and Bonaventure Cemetery.

Home had a musty smell during our stay. Front bathroom door will not stay closed, bathroom in poor condition, fixtures need replacement. No A/C out to back bedroom/porch, advertised as central air. Love seat is dirty. Bed headboard is very loose, knocks against wall with slightest movement. Washer and dryer cannot be accessed due to the tiny closet they are in, the door barely opens and then contacts the unit. Light in closet was out and something was left in the dryer. Iron does not work well. Electrical outlet in back bedroom not working. Poor quality for the amount of money charge.

Loved the little cottage, had a nice charm to it. The beds were comfortable and the courtyard was lovely. In a great location, near everything but quiet. Only problem was the courtyard door stuck real bad and you had to run at it a few times to open it. Other than that a great overall stay!

The cottage was perfect for three adults and one baby. It was close to downtown and located on one of the most calm and lovely squares. It was nice to have a washer/dryer and full kitchen, and the cottage itself was a beautifully decorated and clean space. Our only complaint is that we paid to rent a pack and play for our baby, but it was not in good condition and we regretted not bringing one instead.

The cottage is located in the Historic District so we could walk to just about everything. The cottage was perfect except there was a wall light in the back bedroom that also switched off the wall outlet that controlled the TV. Nothing that couldn't be worked around. I would definitely recommend staying here. Don't bring more than 4 people though. It personifies cozy.

Staying at the Wakefield Cottage for a girls' weekend was wonderful! I had stayed at this property back in 2012 and am happy to say things have only changed for the better. The keypad entry made it practically worry-free (never had to worry about losing the keys!) - our code did not work upon arrival, and Joy was most helpful (at 9:15PM!) in changing our access code and updating the information on the app. The location is great - only downfall is construction nearby, but there's construction everywhere right now! - and the private parking space is unbeatable when staying on a weeknight. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return soon!

Thank you so very much for making our Savannah girls' vacation so wonderful!
